She tried to fight his tight embrace, he was holding her waist. He stopped, his eyes roaming around her face. "Don't make a scene here, babe," he whispered in her ear. "I'm not making a scene here, I don't like you to buy those jewelry for me."
She tried to control her voice. Why does he need to buy those staff? She didn't need it at all!
"It's a gift, babe." He looked like he's almost losing his temper. "It's not my birthday, Mr. Wolfe," she said unenthusiastically. His face darkened more, upon hearing what she just called him. She knows that it made him pissed, whenever she called him by his last name.
He was about to say something, but the staff came in. She didn't react when Nathan held her hand tightly. She was pulling her arm, but he didn't release her, he was giving him his dangerous looks.
"You may choose, babe." Nathan looked at her, there was a warning in his eyes.
She looked at the jewelry, she chose the white gold designs with tiny diamonds that adorned it. It looks simple, yet elegant. She now agrees with other women and says that diamonds are a girl's best friend.
"Nice choice Mrs. Wolfe," the staff said while smiling. She tilted her head, "I'm not his wife," she said flatly. Nathan held his grip in her arm more tightly, she almost whimpered for what he did.
"We will take this one." Nathan was smiling at the staff, the woman seemed to like his smile, she was obviously flirting with him.
Rhianna was frowning her forehead, because he was flirting with a saleswoman too. She rolled her eyes because of her annoyance to him.
"Can't you show a little enthusiasm, babe?" He gritted his teeth while looking at her eyes.
"Your enthusiasm was just enough for both of us," she hissed, fighting his dagging looks.
This man is really impossible! The amount of the jewelries, can pay the one year salary of her employees in the restaurant! She tilted her head with the thought.
"I am just generous enough to give what I have." His gaze never left her, he traced the outline of her lips with his thumb. She shivered for what he did.
"I'll just wait for you on the couch," she said to avoid him. The staff came in and talked to Nathan about the payment's procedure. They entered inside the office of the store.
Rhianna was sitting when a man approached her. He seems to be the same age as her. He was smiling at her, his smile was contagious. He has blonde hair, and very cute dimples on both his cheeks. She smiled a bit, he sat down beside her.
"Are there any available staff?" The man asked her.
"Oh yeah, they are inside assisting the other customer. You can go there, in their showroom." The man nodded, but didn't move to go to the showroom.
"I'll just wait for them, your presence makes me change my mind," he told her.
She cleared her throat, she tried to smile.
"Are you living here in Miami?" The man asked her, she just tilted her head.
"No, we dropped by to buy something," her voice was very casual.
After a few minutes, Nathan came out. His eyes darted at her and the man beside her. He made big steps to reach where she was. "Sorry to keep you waiting, babe," he was smiling, but there was a glint in his eyes. He kissed her lips, and guided her to stand.
He immediately snaked his arms around her waist. It was so tight that she couldn't even breathe. His face changed when his eyes went to the man.
"Are you talking to my girl, young man?" his voice sounds dangerous.
"A little sir, I just asked where's the staff." The man was stammering, he seemed afraid and intimidated. Nathan's posture and build, made him stand out. Showing his dominant character and an air of authority.
"Good, I don't want anybody approaching my girl," he kissed her lips again. She was just silent, and never commented on anything. It was useless, even if she has a point. She gave an apologetic look to the man. The young man seemed to understand her message, he just nodded.
When Nathan saw what she did, he was clenching his fist. He held her waist more tightly. His neck and face became red. Oh what a possessive man! She wonders what is it this time that he didn't like?
She removed his arms on her waist, and walked away. Nathan gave a warning look to the man, who hurriedly went to the showroom.
"Flirting again, babe?" It was Nathan who followed her outside the store. She stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, and faced him. "So, talking to another man means flirting?" she crossed her arms on her chest. She didn't like his attitude, he was so rude.
"Can you give me the right notion about flirting then, Mr. Wolfe?" She asked him, he was always testing her patience.
"Oh yeah! I was asking you which one you would like, right? You were unenthusiastic, you didn't smile, and you were very cold."
He was breathing heavily, his chest went up and down. He was controlling his anger by his looks.
"I didn't demand anything from you! You are the one who insisted on buying that stuff!" She was pissed too, and Nathan really pushes her to the limits.
"All I want is to go home, and to run away from you! Far far away!" Her voice was a little higher. Some of the people walking were looking at them. They caught attention with what they were doing.
Nathan held her arm, and guided her to the car. He opened the car angrily, let her in, and threw the shopping bags on the back seats. He started the engine angrily, but turned it off again. "Damn!" he cursed, and hit the steering wheel, his eyes were releasing fire when he looked at her.
"You want to run away from me, babe? Fine! I'll just put John rot in jail! And I will make it sure, that he cannot escape!" His voice was like thunder.
"All you could do is to visit him! So think again, babe!" He was giving her a cogent proposal.
