I ran as fast as I could in those high heels out of the building into the cool night.
"Alea" I heard a male voice behind me. It was Matt. He ran down the stairs to me. "What's up?" He wanted to know out of breath when he got to me.
"I just want to go home," I told him calmly. "I'll drive you, of course," he said, motioning to his driver to get the limousine.
"It's not necessary," I replied, but Matt waved him off. "No back talk".
We got into the limousine and Matt eyed me. "What happened? Is it because of him?" He wanted to know again.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "I don't know what you mean," I choked him off. I didn't want to talk to my manager about it, even though Matt and I had a good relationship.
"Alea, I can smell him on you. What's going on between you two?" Damn. I knew exactly who he was talking about and was embarrassed to smell him and be caught.
"There's nothing going on between Mr. Silva and me. He's the CEO of my former employer. That's all," I repeated my statement. God Alea nobody believes you anymore.
Matt snorted audibly. Of course he didn't believe what I said. "If you're ready to talk about it I'm there. All I can tell you right now is be careful with him. He's not exactly marriage material, quite the opposite."
Oh my god please don't. This conversation is so unnecessary. "Matt thanks for your advice, but don't worry, I know exactly who Thiago Silva is. And the last thing I want is any contact with that man." I explained wearily.
Matt looked satisfied with my answer and thankfully left it at that.
When I finally got home, I politely thanked Matt and went to my apartment. What an evening, I thought to myself as I peeled off my dress.
But Matt was right about one thing. I could also smell Thiago on me. His perfume, which smelled really divine, clung to my skin.
Without taking a shower and with Thiago on me, I climbed tired into my bed and fell into a deep sleep. What an evening.
The next day, it was Sunday, I spent my time with Andy. We went to the beach and let our white skin get a little tan. We also drank cocktails and enjoyed the summer day.
Of course I also told him about the evening, about Matt's advances and seeing Thigao Silva again. Andy was shocked. We haven't had so much information and excitement at once for a while.
"And how did you feel when Thiago kissed you? Was it nice?" Andy wanted to know while we lay on our towels in the sand with our backs and faces to the sun.
"The kiss was indescribable. I can't explain it but it takes me into another world. Unable to think. God Andy if people hadn't been clapping I would have had sex with him" I explained desperately.
"I'm actually mad at him and I know he's the devil himself and I definitely have to stay away from him, but why do I let him touch me like that and kiss him back?" I continued.
"Mhhh I think the guy is hot as hell and the sex was divine, at moments like this your brain shuts down and your body takes over for you, it finally knows exactly what this man can make you feel. I just wonder why the devil always comes back to you? And apparently tried to mark his territory yesterday?" Andy now asked me.
"I have no idea Andy, I only know one thing, Thiago Silva is so taboo," I decided again.
"And Matt?" Hooked Andy on.
"So is Matt. He's my CEO. I would never risk my reputation or my career for a man. Everyone would think I slept my way through and got this job even if I didn't. And regardless, I just did no interest in him. He's nice, handsome, but when I look into his eyes there's nothing from my side. No tingling, nothing." I clarified.
"But Matt likes you?" Andy couldn't let the subject go.
"Maybe. But he is professional and accepts my decision and a no". I finished my sentence and sat up. I looked at the sea and let the review pass again.

The next day it was Monday morning and I was at work early. I usually started before everyone else and was alone in the office for the first few hours. But I liked it. A little rest before all the employees arrived.
I opened all the blinds and windows to air out, turned on the lights and the computers. I ran to the coffee machine and let myself get a latte. Back at my desk, I opened my email program and all other folders I need for my work.
After 45 minutes, the signal from my Skype business chat suddenly sounded. I opened the chat:
T. Silva: Good morning little ones.
I think I'm going crazy. Are you serious? How did he get my email address to write to me on Skype Business and above all why is he even doing this?
I closed the chat window and ignored him. But Thiago saw that I had already read his message
T. Silva: Alea do n't ignore me .
T. Silva: Those!!!
A. Miles: What do you want from me? leave me alone _ _
T. Silva: I want to talk to you.
A. Miles: I do n't know what to talk about. Have a nice day

T. Silva: Wait. i'm just teasing you Actually, I wanted to tell you that the job at Barnes Miami isn't good for you. You should quit urgently .
A. Miles: oh you know , I actually had a great job but was fired without notice by the CEO himself. If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't be working here today!!!
T. Silva: I had my reasons .
A. Miles: Of course you did . Was that all or did you want to say more ?

Then I closed the chat window.
He says that I mean something to him? I read it in black and white. This information makes me pause for a moment. I have no idea what to make of it? However, I decided not to tell anyone about the chat and continue working as if nothing happened. In Matt's company.
And Thiago? I would not contact him until further notice or expect to be in contact again. We saw each other briefly at the donation garla and just had a short conversation. But that's it. I still thought it best to get him out of my life.
