It was just like a bad dream, where Melissa kept hearing stranger voices. Although there were not so strange she want to pretend they were strange.
She felt been carried and moved so somewhere else, even when she knew the place was far, she felt safe.
She felt been moved harshly and some droplet of water drop on her face. Slowly, without effort, she turned to her left side and open her eyes, she immediately recognized the room to be hers.
"Melissa" Leah sounds worried, she shook Melissa again as she began to smile "Melissa" she turned to her back "guys quit fighting, she is awake"
Williams, Molly, and Sam rushed to her, almost hugging her immediately on her beg. They all look worried like she died or something bad had happened to her.
It took Melissa a few seconds to think before she remembered what had happened.
"I failed again" she cried "What am I going to do?"
She fell Into Leah's open arm and cried more, she couldn't just get to drop out of school but she have nothing to do either.
She moved closer to Leah and cried more.
"It's okay Melissa, you have to rest" Leah kissed her forehead.
Melissa stiffened, slowly, she pulled out to look at Leah's face.
"If I heard correctly, they said my scholarship had been terminated" she cried "You know how I am struggling to cope and what the hell it had gotten me".
"Relax Melissa" Molly held her palm, she caresses it before kissing it.
Melissa flinched, at least not too visible. She looks at her still bare laps, avoiding Molly's gaze. She shivered as the kisses Molly planted on her palm sent a sweet sensation all over her body, leaving her red.
She heard Molly's soft chuckle as embarrassment engulfed her, leaving her as red as a tomato and she knows Molly was doing what she was doing on purpose.
"We can make this work well, Mel" Molly touched her bare thighs "I promise"
Melissa smiled a little, although she still had no idea why she was smiling but she still did smile. The fact that she still has someone beside her even in her time of problems means a lot to her, except that she was finding it difficult to breathe as Molly's warm palm move occasionally on bare thighs.
Damn! The leotard she wore while dancing was still the same thing she had on. To make it worst, she had nothing inside. If a person should eventually rip it off her body, she would be completely naked.
"I still don't get it" Melissa looked up her thighs to see Williams staring at them "Do I really have bad luck or am I a psychic?"
Everyone went voiceless for few seconds before Sam gasps, looking at everyone strangely.
"I feel like hitting your head" Leah scoffed "So what?" She stood up angrily "Do what if you come from a broken family, or had to depend on a scholarship, or had to have bad taste in love or got raped almost to death a week ago! So fuckingwhat!?"
Melissa gulped, she turned to Williams who had a strange sad look on his face, he faces. He looked away as Sam cleared her throat.
"You can't hide it from us, Melissa," she said, "We planned to frame him up for kidnapping you and you know how popular he is?"
The redhead nodded "I get it" she began to cry "I get it"
"You get what?" Williams's voice was hoarse "Melissa, I swear I did want to keep it secret" he walked to her "You know how I love you"
"Love that had her out of reach for days" Molly scoffed "Love that had her raped because of your bad influence of a brother?"
"Mel, you know, I will do nothing to harm you. My love" Williams choose to ignore Molly "We can get through this, together"
"I see where you are going, Mr rich kid" Molly poked his shoulder "Who the fuck are you?"
"Molly, please let me be" Williams pleads for peace "I don't want your drama"
"My drama?" She gasped "How am I not sure that you had this planned with your brother and it went wrong?"
"That's a point" Leah muttered as she sat on the floor "Do anyone have chips?"
"Molly please" Melissa whispered as she walked away from them both to the kitchen "Let's move past this"
Everyone apart from molly seems to move on to the next level apart from Molly, who still had her face red in anger.
"I know what you want, son of a bitch" she said through clenched teeth "But I fucking bet you, you won't have it. Just as your mother didn't have your father for long"
From where Williams stood, he seems to visibly tense, He sigh and decided to ignore her. He followed the small noise to the kitchen door where Melissa walked out with a can of Zoa drink.
"And for your information, Hughes" Molly walked to him "I know your family's dirty secret"
Even when Williams felt like things are no longer plain, he remains calm even when he seems obviously pissed. He walks away from Molly and took the drink from Melissa with a sweet smile on his face that made Melissa blushed.
"You should go away" Molly continued "Back to Spain"
Something that sounds more like a growl escaped Williams's lips as he held the can tight, pressing out the liquid. He kissed Melissa's forehead and walked to the door.
"Don't be a coward" Molly pushed further.
"Do not push me, Miss Reed" Williams stop on reaching the door, he cast her a daring look "Don't push me!"
"Molly let him be" Melissa walked to her friends, she seems obviously sick of all the drama because she knew what exactly is making Molly act the way she is.
"And what will you do?" Molly ignored Melissa "Kill me just as you killed your brother?"
"That's enough!" Williams rushed to Molly who had a pleading look on her face "Do not push me"
"Did you kill your brother?" Leah asked surprisingly, she flinched as Williams turned to her angrily and grabbed Molly's neck "I don't wanna die now, so I will over here minding my business"
His grip wasn't tight but he was sure it was squeezing the life out of Molly who still had an annoying smirk on her face.
"Tell her Williams" She choked as her small hands went round his hand "want to kill me too?"
Melissa and the rest girls were too shocked to say anything. They just stood still with mouth and eyes agape as Williams squeezed life off their friend.
Williams locked eyes with Melissa and his anger disappeared, he roughly dropped Molly to the ground and turned to walk out.
"Williams, tell me she is lying" Melissa blinked back tears.
"She is" Williams blurted as he reached the door "At least not yet. And forget about your father" he open the door.
"What do you mean?" Melissa moved close to him.
Williams stood undisturbed, his eyes fixed on the room number of the next-door neighbor. His fist tighten around the handle as his shoulders dropped in defeat.
"Talk to me Williams" Melissa sniffed, slowly, she placed her shaking hand on his shoulder "Williams!"
As no one had expected, Williams turned to her hand. He placed his large palm on hers and caress it.
"It's nothing to worry about, my love" he whispered as he turned to face her, his huge hands cupping her face then he smiled "Don't stressful, Babe"
"Babe?" Molly scoffed "This is bullshit Melissa" she yelled "He is full of secrets. Are you sure he did not harm your dad too?"
It was obviously a rhetorical question but it too felt loud enough to be ignored. Melissa began to move away from Williams like she just realized him to be a monster.
"Mel!" Williams panicked "Babe don't listen to her"
"What did you do to my dad?" Melissa began to cry "Please tell me you didn't kill him too or not yet"
"What?" Williams felt hurt. His brows connected as she moved to Melissa who kept moving back until she was behind Molly who stood in front of him with an evil smirk "Please Melissa "
He tried to move Molly away but Sam moved to her side, making it hard for Melissa to be seen.
"Don't believe her" he said "You know I don't know where Micheal is"
"What about my father?" She said, still behind her friends "What did you do to him"
"I can't hurt him, Melissa" Williams looked into Sam's eyes "Please. Please I am begging you to believe me for just this once"
"Where is my father?" Melissa yelled.
"In Oklahoma, married" Williams forced himself to say "He doesn't want you"
Like magic, Melissa appeared in front of Williams, in the middle of over surprised Molly and Sam. Tears filled her eyes as her lips quivered.
She placed both hands on her head as she looked at his face longer, expecting him to laugh and say he was just pulling her legs. But he said nothing, his face was cold and emotionless, in other words dormant.
"BLOODY LIAR!!" She slapped him.
