Although I was expecting something different, the way he kisses me doesn't even come close to the ruthless form of the dream. The delicacy with which he moves those warm lips makes me shudder, as if he's afraid of hurting me. My left hand tousles his damp hair, while my right rests on his shoulder, allowing me to clearly perceive the vibration produced by his accelerated heartbeat, not to mention the contact of his palms on my back, drawing me closer to his body.
His lips part from me and that's when I open my eyes. Looking up, I notice that he is staring at me with an expression that makes it impossible for me to understand what he is thinking about. Perhaps he is afraid of my next action, assuming that I will reject him or slap him, but I know it will not be so, so I lower the direction of my eyes to his lips and I end with the minimum distance that separates mine from them, taking her face and stroking her cheeks with his fingertips.
His hands once again make his presence known on my back, entangling there and hugging me. By now, the kiss took a much faster pace, but still has that touch of tenderness that makes it feel like my stomach is turning inside of me.
When I feel the lack of air, Samuel doesn't seem to even think to let go of me, due to which I lower my hands to his chest and give him a brief push, pulling him away from me a little and managing to take some air. When I look at him again, I notice his hair, which I myself took care of ruffling and now fall in a row on his face. I run a small strand that seems to cover a large part of her face, especially her eyes, to which I assume I am slowly becoming addicted. I make a grimace similar to a smile.
May: What are we doing? (I ask, trying to comb it).
Samuel: I don't know, (approaches and places a kiss on my cheek)… but I love it.
May (sigh): It's crazy.
Samuel (laughs softly): As far as I know, you live doing crazy things. This would not be an exception.
May: It's just nonsense that I do to fight my dad.
Samuel: Do I have to feel used? (Asks, frowning).
May (I look at him): If I were using you, you would already be fired and ... you are not. What's more ... he's surprised that I don't hate you or something like that. When I found out I was going to have bodyguards, he gave me a fit.
Samuel: Capricious.
May: Whose side are you on?
I raise my eyebrows, he laughs and puts his lips back to mine.
Already lying down and, despite the blanket that rises under me, fulfilling the role of a sheet and the existence of fire, whose restless flames accompany me, I still feel the frozen ground against my back, which forces me to hug even more the owner of the shirt I'm wearing, hiding my face in his bare chest. He chuckles and puts his arm around me, placing a warm kiss on my forehead and staying in that position: with his lips pressed against my skin.
Samuel: Good night, boss.
He says mockingly and in a barely audible tone. When I lift my head to look at him, his eyes are already closed and the innocent expression on his face forces me to smile. I settle back on his chest and close my eyes with a smile on my lips, but not before answering him:
- Good night, beautiful.
