"No, don't," Bella whispered and pushed her hand against Edward's massive chest.
But as her hand grazed against Edward's firm pectoral muscles, a wave of pleasure traveled from her fingertips throughout her whole body like a tidal wave. Even though she was in denial, her mind and body were screaming to consummate her marriage with Edward.

Edward grabbed Bella's hands, turned her around, and pressed her against the door, effectively making her his prisoner. Bella was trapped in Edward's arms. All this time, their relationship had been so calm and bland, like a couple who had been married for years. They had always kept a distance from one another, respecting each other. She had no clue that Edward held such a strong desire for her. It was a wonderful feeling as if she had suddenly been gifted a present from the gods, surprising her more than anything.
"You feel the bond too, don't you? You're my mate, Bella. We're destined to be together..."
Bella was about to nod, but when she heard the word 'mate', she looked up in shock and stared into Edward's eyes incredulously, trying hard to tell from his expression whether he was serious or joking.
"You believe it, don't you?" Edward asked softly. He looked hurt.
Bella swallowed a lump in her throat. "I once believed that David was my mate, but it turned out that he lied to me, he cheated on me. I'm pretty sure that he and Lanny laughed at me for being a fool in thinking that a wolfless girl like me could have a mate. How can I have a mate when I have been cursed and forgotten by the moon goddess?" Bella muttered.
"Bella, that's not true. Please don't believe a single word that comes from their mouths. They have deceived you once, they will deceive you countless times. They made up lies just to belittle you. Never doubt yourself, you, my love, are favored by the moon goddess," he reassured her.
Edward took Bella's hand, which was now damp from all the perspiration. His hands were just as sweaty and he was as nervous as she was. "Will you, Bella White, accept me as your mate?"
Bella blinked, unable to believe that it was real. She wasn't young anymore, she was 25. And that was considered old compared to werewolves who would normally find their mates when they turned 18. In the past seven years, she had experienced so many bad things that she gradually went from having hope to despair. Now, however, the moon goddess had blessed her with a tall, handsome and caring mate, and things couldn't have been better.
"I do. I, Bella White, accept you, Edward Wilson as my mate."
"Thank you, my love, my mate. I want you, Bella," Edward whispered in her ear.
He stripped off all his clothes and stood before her, naked as a newborn with his cock fully erect.
