The senior's footsteps faded down the hall, the door clicking shut behind him. For a moment, silence filled the room.

She glanced at Zane lying comfortably on the bed, his guard completely down. A sly smile curved her lips as she reached for a pillow nearby.
Without warning, she swung it hard at him.
The pillow smacked him squarely in the face.

More pillows came flying at him, like a soft, fluffy storm. Twenty pillows later, Zane was covered in stuffing and feathers.
He sat up, breathless but eyes blazing with playful fury. "Alright, that's it!"
With surprising speed, Zane leapt to his feet and grabbed a pillow.
Pillows flew through the air, feathers exploded, and laughter echoed through the room. Sera's wind powers sent soft stuffing swirling like a blizzard, while Zane dodged and countered with precision.
The room quickly became a chaotic mess of torn pillowcases and fluff everywhere.
Finally, exhausted and out of breath, both slumped down on the bed, panting.
