Adrianna POV
After eating and wrapping the left overs up, Manuel came out of no where watching my every move.
"Is this a staring contest or something." I was getting nervous his stares were making me feel naked.
"Come here", Manuel said.
Obeying his command, I stood a few feet away from him. He unfolded something from a box and placed some type of documented papers on the kitchen island.
My hands started to sweat. "What's going on?" I asked in a quiet voice.
He pulled out a ring. I gasped. Please lord don't let it be what I think it is. So quickly Manuel grabbed my hand and slipped the expensive piece of jewelry on my left hand ring finger. I tried pulling away.
"Adrianna stop ... okay know sign these papers so we'd be officially married." He said not even looking at me in the face. The smile on his face was now freaking me out.
I choked over my spit. "Married.. no" I tried taking the ring over it didn't move. I was tearing up. "Sign the papers Adri and that's it." Manuel said in a tight voice. He gripped my upper arm knowing I was gonna run away.
"We can stay engaged for awhile" I said lowly.
"Don't fucking test me sign the papers Adrianna!"
"Or what Manuel. I don't want this I'm not legal yet." That's when it all added up tomorrow was my birthday. I was turning 18.
"If you don't sign these I'll force the signature and Scar my name on my favorite part of your body." He purred in my ears.
My eyes grew wide at his statements. I began to shake. I didn't wanna grow weak in front of this man I grown to love.
He didn't give me much time either to say yes I wanted to marry him and stuff. This wasn't proper. "Adrianna.." I cut him off. I didn't mean these words but they left my mouth before my mind could think properly.
"I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU. I WISH I NEVER MEET YOU." I said hitting his chest his arm around my upper arm loosens.
"You know where your ass would be if you never meet me Adrianna." He reached behind his back and pulled out a gun. I stood in fear. His eyes held the emotion I couldn't explain. Please don't kill me.
He shoved the gun in my hand. "This is your chance Adrianna, I won't let anyone else kill me but you my love only you." he said pulling off his shirt showing me his tan chest. Probably so I won't miss the shot.
I gripped the gun in my hand. He taught me how to use the gun so I knew what to do. I felt this power as I held the gun in my hand. I couldn't do this and he knew it. He was trying to prove me wrong in this mess. I pointed the gun to his chest. I was trying to keep my hands sturdy. "Come on Adrianna the quicker it is you won't have to marry me."
He said smiling his smile made me feel guilty his genuine smile.
I dropped the gun and picked up the pen. Signed my name. Not giving me any chance to run. Manuel picked the gun up and replaced in my hand and told me it was mine. "Anytime you want you can use it Adri." I took to the gun and throw it across the room hitting and art piece. In tears I ran up the stairs to the room and locked my self in the bathroom.
In the tub I held my knees up to my chest crying. In the tub I examined the beautiful ring on hand. I didn't wanna see him. Never not now and not tomorrow. I heard his commotions outside the room. I'm surprised he didn't say anything like his usually self.

Manuel POV
Adrianna now is mine, always has been since I've laid eyes on her. She can always run but I'll find her. Her ring has a tracker. My dad had implanted it in my moms ring if something every happened to her. The ring looked so good on my loves hand every time she looked at it her eyes twinkled.
It's been a day since she's been in that bathroom. I was giving her the time and space she needed. Daya told me to leave her alone as soon as she ran up the stairs.
I knew she didn't mean the words she said to me that somehow still hurt my heart.
I gave a chance to shoot me and she didn't. She didn't have to speak her mind, I saw right in my princesses eye that she didn't mean it.
I was saving her birthday present for our one month honeymoon. I wanted three months for this honey moon but I had some business that I couldn't push aside.
My stomach growled I couldn't eat until she did. Damn I couldn't sleep. Once every hour I stick my ear to the door to hear If she was still alive. The death of my love....
Would also bring me six feet under with her grave...
Ignoring my headache I called a few people over the phone dealing with business since I didn't wanna leave the room.
I was gonna give her a day to get out that bathroom.
I throw my phone across the room. I just looked at the door. Praying she'd come out anytime soon.
Once she's out I'm gonna tell her all my promises to her til the day we die.
I was slipping. I couldn't get her face out of my head or those big brown eyes of hers that made me want to stare at her all day.
A man in my statues could have any girl they wanted and Adrianna was that girl that I wanted.

Adrianna POV
It's been a day in the tub. I assumed Manuel hasn't left the room either. I can still hear him picking up calls and such on the phone. He wasn't planning on leaving.
This wasn't hard was it. I know how to open a door. I opened the door to see Manuel looking miserable as every. My voice cracked. I wasn't gonna make this hard on myself.
I just say it like nothing happened 24 hours ago.
"Can w-we at least have a wed-d-ding? I don't want it to be big. W-we can invite Chelly, your dad, Daya, Dean, and Matteo." I said looking around the room but not at him.
He starts walking up to me and I tried to take a step back but I was already blocked my the bathroom door. I started to shake. Was I scared of what can happen. Deep down I prayed he wasn't mad.
His hands come up and starts to caress my cheek and just staring at me. I wanted to badly to look at him but I couldn't bring myself to doing so.
Then he grabs my chin and says," Always look in my eyes not down love." Then he brushes my messy hair.He kisses my temple multiple times.
A minute later Manuel's kneeled down , head was pressed against my belly telling me things in Italian that I didn't understand. He was tearing up a little. You'd barely know it.
I cooed to Manuel like a baby rubbing my hand through his hair.
"We can talk about that wedding thing after we go downstairs and eat." He said pulling away kissing my hand.
I finished my last bite in silence, as Manuel finished his. We spent the rest of the day in his office planning our mini wedding. It's not as cute as it sounds I swear. Because it was happening two days from now and all I had to do was pick a dress.
