Before Lu Yuan could fully articulate his response, Gao Qing’s demeanor shifted, her tone suddenly becoming severe and stern.
Lu Yuan was taken aback and subconsciously glanced at the black device seized by Yellow Bear Members on the ground. He couldn’t help but retort, "I didn’t use it, and this isn’t a populated area. Moreover... it was sent to me by your Yellow Bear’s... Captain Zhou."
Gao Qing responded coldly, "That’s why I will file a complaint against him once I get back. But first, let’s talk about your issue."
Gao Qing’s aggressive stance quickly made Lu Yuan realize he’d been set up.
It probably has nothing to do with Zhou Ling, he suspected. The problem largely lies with this woman named Gao Qing.

Lu Yuan’s mind raced, but he quickly regained his composure.
"So, Chief Gao, are you intending to take me back?"
Lu Yuan nodded decisively, then shifted his gaze to the Fly Shuttle parked aside and asked, "Do you need to put electronic shackles on me, or should I walk up there myself?"
Gao Qing was stunned, completely unprepared for Lu Yuan’s reaction.

Unexpectedly, Gao Qing just waved her hand and said, "You can leave now. If there’s anything else, I’ll have someone notify you."
Lu Yuan didn’t say anything, simply nodded, then picked up his backpack and headed towards the exit of the abandoned car park.
When he was almost out of sight of the Fly Shuttle, Lu Yuan paused for a moment.

Thinking this, Lu Yuan adjusted his backpack and quickened his pace.
As soon as Lu Yuan left, a Yellow Bear Member approached Gao Qing, his face still showing traces of shock that hadn’t completely faded.
"This kid is something. A C-level Underground Monster, killed with one punch. No wonder Captain Zhou is so keen on him..."
Gao Qing gave a light huff and said nothing, but casually tapped a spot on her left wrist.
A tiny virtual screen popped out.
Gao Qing effortlessly tapped at the screen with her right hand; her slender, pale fingers moved nimbly, as if playing a piano.
The Yellow Bear Member beside her peered over curiously and saw that Gao Qing was working on an assessment report.
The report displayed Lu Yuan’s name and information.
Underneath was a series of aptitude evaluations, and it seemed Gao Qing was modifying and adding some information.
The Yellow Bear Member carefully glanced at the bottom of the report, and a line of small text caught his eye.
Potential Rating: A+ (One in Ten Thousand)
His pupils contracted sharply, and he sucked in a quick breath.
But before the shock on his face could fully register, the letters after the rating vanished.
They were replaced with the words "Reassessing..."
