The Transmigrator’s Cultivation Chapter 203

Translator: Lynn The battle between the immortals and demons intensified. The sudden influx of hordes of devils placed significant pressure on the Golden Core-stage cultivators who had just begun adapting to combat. Among these demons, many were formidable individuals above the Nascent Soul stage. This accelerated the carnage among the disciples of the Yunu faction, with many outstanding immortal disciples falling victim to the draining of their flesh and blood. Xu Ziqing and a few junior cultivators in the Foundation Establishment and Golden Core Formation stages were shielded by Golden Core Daoists, though their expressions were far from favorable. Nevertheless, their good fortune outshone those who had perished suddenly, thanks to the protective presence of their teachers. Gradually, demon lords above the Nascent Soul stage began to notice Elder Qin and his companions and rushed toward them. Elder Qin and his allies did their utmost to combat the demons, relying on their cherished artifacts. Yet, they could feel their energy being gradually sapped, making the situation increasingly difficult. Nevertheless, they couldn’t afford to retreat. If one of them faltered, the demons would become relentless, and the golden core disciples behind them would be devoured. The faction of Sunu cultivators, colluding with the demonic Blood God Sect, had revealed their ruthless nature. This Blood God Sect was renowned in the realm of evil demons. cultivators who joined it not only grew at an extraordinary pace but also developed a ravenous, bloodthirsty disposition, making them almost indistinguishable from man-eating monsters. If it had been a regular group of evil spirits, it wouldn’t have been so troublesome, and their method of ignoring sect affiliations and ruthlessly devouring people wouldn’t have been so challenging. As many elders grappled with the demons, another shift unfolded in the sky. The area had been vibrating, but suddenly, a powerful beam of light streaked across, slicing open the fabric of the air. It appeared as though the sky had been torn apart, unleashing a fierce tempest. Within the tempest, three figures materialized, with two white forms confronting another. Thunderclouds surged as they gestured, causing the natural aura to flow chaotically, generating numerous vortexes. The forces they commanded were overwhelmingly powerful, causing countless boulders to shatter and the surrounding flora to be uprooted, pulverized into fine dust by the sheer might. One of the white forms descended rapidly like a falling star, creating a deep crater upon impact, cracking the ground like a spiderweb, causing a substantial section to collapse. Numerous cultivators and demons struggled to maintain their balance, relying on their spells to avoid being buried by earth and rocks. The other white form also touched down, swiftly moving to catch the fallen figure. It was then that observers recognized the person who had plummeted first—Mu Wuxin, with a pale countenance, disheveled hair, torn sleeves, and a disheveled skirt, holding a faintly glowing magic weapon. Though its radiance was feeble, it exuded a palpable sense of danger—a clear indication of the immortal weapon she relied on. The other white figure was familiar to the cultivators who had attended the birthday banquet. It was Lang Tianqi, a wandering cultivator from overseas who had arrived with Yu Nongqing, and who appeared to be her protector. This spectacle left onlookers puzzled, and it hinted at a complex connection between this individual and the owner of Ruyi Xianzhuang. From the air, Yu Nongqing burst into laughter, taunting Mu Wuxin, “Mu Wuxin, you’re at the end of your strength now. Even with an immortal weapon, how many times can you use it?” Mu Wuxin wiped blood from her lips, her expression cold as she retorted, “Traitor! My dear, I’ll kill you even if it costs me my life!” Yu Nongqing snorted softly, clearly still brimming with energy. She giggled for a moment before her demeanor shifted, her face turning cold. She extended her hand, then slapped it downward. “Who wouldn’t take advantage of verbal sparring? Everyone from Ruyi Xianzhuang will die today!” She shouted sharply, “It’s your fault for coming to celebrate Mu Wuxin’s birthday!” As the words left her mouth, an immense force descended, taking the form of a massive mountain crashing toward the ground. The attack targeted everyone on the ground of the Immortal Fruit Conference! The overwhelming coercion pressed down upon every cultivator as if it had cast shackles upon them all. The formidable aura of the Mahayana-stage cultivator left no room for resistance among the lower-level cultivators shrouded within it. Simultaneously, Elder Qin’s exclamation filled the air: “This is bad!” Even as he spoke, a colossal barrier materialized from his brows, resembling a citadel, exuding immense power high above his head. The other four Nascent Soul cultivators also summoned similar barrier one after another, forming protective shields around the disciples within their reach. Yun Lie and Xu Ziqing were included within this safeguarding formation, but Xu Ziqing could sense that even though the enormous mountain had not been fully suppressed, the five barriers were creaking as if they might shatter at any moment… Suddenly, a resounding shout echoed from the sky: “How dare you, junior—” A gigantic hand descended from afar, striking the colossal mountain and flinging it away. In quick succession, multiple colossal palms followed, each unleashing a series of thudding impacts that reduced the Nascent Soul demons who had pushed Elder Qin and his companions to their limits into mere pulp. Even Nascent Soul cultivators couldn’t escape this fate… Xu Ziqing swiftly looked up and saw auspicious clouds drawing near. A group of dozens of cultivators radiating formidable auras stood atop the clouds, each exuding profound power. Their combined presence seemed capable of turning the world upside down. Among them was a middle-aged man with a short beard on his chin, repeatedly thrusting out his palms with remarkable precision, accurately dispatching each Nascent Soul demon while sparing the immortal cultivators. He was the one who had slapped the colossal hand earlier. The short-bearded middle-aged man appeared to possess a volatile temperament, and a thunderous boom accompanied each of his palm strikes. Numerous cultivators surrounded him, allowing him to vent his fury without taking action themselves. Within moments, the short-bearded middle-aged man had obliterated over a dozen Nascent Soul demons, with the shockwaves from his strikes also killing many golden core demons. Yu Nongqing’s imposing presence was dwarfed in comparison. Yu Nongqing’s complexion shifted abruptly. She exclaimed, “I specifically ordered the interception of the message. How did you receive the news?” The middle-aged man with a short beard retorted sharply, “Demoness, the heavenly net has been fully mended. No secrets can escape now, and you, Junior, can’t conceal anything from the world any longer!” As these cultivators approached, their fury grew upon witnessing the dire state of many Golden Core real people below, reduced to mere bones and skin or even less. Particularly, the sects that had suffered substantial losses, losing even a single heroic figure, were filled with rage. The following moment, these cultivators unleashed their powers. In an instant, boundless pressure surged forth, compressing the void with the rioting true essence, resulting in a shattering “Kaka” sound as numerous void rifts gaped open, appearing menacing and horrifying. Regardless of the demons’ cultivation levels, upon encountering these true essences, they were reduced to ash without a chance to scream. Such a formidable force, teeming with overpowering wrath, seemed to obliterate everything in the blink of an eye. The demon lords howled incessantly, utterly defenseless. Yu Nongqing’s delicate countenance turned pallid. She hadn’t anticipated this turn of events. Her body was pummeled by the force, and despite her utmost resistance, she was repeatedly pushed back, unable to retaliate. Simultaneously, although the sect disciples and elders on the ground weren’t subjected to these forces, the intense pressure emanating from these exceedingly potent cultivators left them overwhelmed. As the coercion bore down, Xu Ziqing experienced a ringing in his head and was plunged into darkness. In the final moments, he felt someone grasp him, but his consciousness had already faded into silence. Xu Ziqing wasn’t alone in this state; all the disciples in the Foundation Establishment and Golden Core Formation stages were similarly affected. Even some ordinary Golden Core Daoists couldn’t maintain their lucidity. Unbeknownst to Xu Ziqing, Yun Lie, who had caught him, unleashed a piercing sword aura from between his brows, creating a shield for protection. ######### ######################## Upon awakening, Xu Ziqing sensed a tingling pain in his forehead, and his thoughts were hazy, making it challenging to focus. Opening his eyes, he discerned a blurred white figure not far away, but the posture and aura unmistakably identified it as his senior brother, Yun Lie. A wave of relief washed over him instantly. “Shixiong…” Xu Ziqing called out, but his throat ached, and there was a dull discomfort in his chest. These sensations undoubtedly indicated severe injuries. Upon hearing Xu Ziqing’s voice, Yun Lie moved closer and settled beside him. “You’re awake,” he said. Xu Ziqing’s vision cleared, and he instantly recognized the place as his own cave. Memories flooded back, and he recalled being at Ruyi Xianzhuang before falling unconscious. At that time, Yu Nongqing had allied with the devilish forces, resulting in the massacre of disciples attending the banquet. Mu Wuxin, the owner of Ruyi Xianzhuang, had engaged in a desperate battle against her former lover, but it proved futile. Subsequently, assistance from the Immortal Dao arrived to confront Yu Nongqing and the demons. However, the overwhelming coercion had overwhelmed these lower-level cultivators, causing them to lapse into unconsciousness. Now, in his own cave, it seemed that the crisis had passed. As Xu Ziqing contemplated this, a cry of distress echoed from outside the cave. It sounded urgent and fraught with concern, seeping into the cave. Xu Ziqing recognized it instantly, “Chonghua…” Eager to rise, he began to lift himself, but Yun Lie extended his hand and gently pressed him back down. “You’re severely injured,” Yun Lie reminded him. “You need to recover considerably before you can move around. Rest is paramount.” With these words, he emitted a blade of swordlight to release the seal on the cave’s entrance. Shortly after, a striking eagle flew into the cave, flapping its wings as it perched on the bed, emitting mournful cries. Xu Ziqing was in excruciating pain throughout his entire body, with his meridians having suffered considerable damage. He could scarcely manage to raise a single hand. The eagle, Chonghua, lowered its head, inviting a gentle pat from its master. Xu Ziqing extended his hand to offer solace. “I had placed you in the small courtyard, concerned for your safety. Now, I realize that Shixiong brought you back.” Turning to Yun Lie, he smiled and continued, “Shixiong, I’ve troubled you.” Yun Lie responded, “It was no trouble at all.” Xu Ziqing dispensed with excessive thanks, opting instead to inquire, “Shixiong, may I ask what transpired after I fell unconscious?” Please let me know if there are typos/mistakes in the chapter.
