"Sister Liu, you walk like a duck."
Liu Yexia's cheeks flushed.
She muttered softly in complaint.
"You have the nerve to talk, aren't you the bastard who made me this way? Don't talk anymore, be careful people notice."
Soon, the two reached a corner office on the third floor.
Inside the office, there were two people.
One was around forty years old, slightly plump, and the other was around twenty-seven or twenty-eight with a good figure, wearing glasses. When they saw Liu Ye enter, they both stood up to greet her.
"Sit down, let me introduce you."
"Our gynecology department currently has thirteen consulting physicians, Dr. Wu is one of the more authoritative among these thirteen doctors, and she's a managing physician."
"Xiao Zhang is a new staff member, currently assisting Dr. Wu."
"According to hospital regulations, you still haven't earned your physician's title, you're not qualified to consult independently, so for now, like Xiao Zhang, you'll be assisting Dr. Wu as well."
"Dr. Wu, Assistant Zhang, hello."
Su Fan greeted the two cautiously.
"Hello, I'm Zhang Jing. I hope to make progress with you in the future."
The young girl with glasses responded softly to Su Fan; she seemed to be very reserved.
"Oh my, isn't this Divine Doctor Su?"
"Your medical skills are so exquisite; you exceed all the experts and professors in our hospital. How could I possibly qualify for you to be my assistant, giggle giggle giggle."
Dr. Wu spoke with a sharp tone.
Her voice was loud, as though she was deliberately speaking for those outside to hear.
Su Fan immediately raised an eyebrow.
Su Fan glanced at Liu Ye.
Liu Ye quickly smoothed things over.
"Xiao Su, don't mind her, Dr. Wu is just loud-mouthed."
"Dr. Wu, let me be straight with you, Xiao Su is my distant cousin. Could you be a bit more accommodating for my sake?"
Dr. Wu was stunned for a moment, then her expression changed.
"Why didn't you say so earlier? Since he's your cousin, then he can follow me."
"Alright, that's very kind of you."
Liu Ye smiled and patted Su Fan's shoulder, then left.
Su Fan walked into the office.
"Where should I sit?"
There were two desks facing each other in the office, and Su Fan asked cautiously.
What was a normal query, Dr. Wu scoffed at and replied sarcastically.
"Who do you think you are, do you need your own office or something?"
"If there's no place to sit, just stand."
Su Fan was about to explode.
After all, he had the backing of Bai Man and Liu Ye behind him.
"You, sit with me," said the delicate girl with glasses softly.
That definitely stirred the hornet's nest; Dr. Wu sprang to her feet.
"Do you not want this job anymore? If you don't, just leave."
"No, not that, I'm sorry Dr. Wu, I'm very sorry."
The girl immediately lowered her head in panic.
"You've only been here a few days, when did you get a say?"
"What, are you trying to be like Su Fan and talk back to the dean?" Dr. Wu's berating got more heated.
"I wouldn't dare, I am sorry."
The girl's tears began to flow all of a sudden.
The loud shouting drew a crowd at the door to watch the commotion.
The girl's head drooped, as if she wished she could disappear into the floor.
Su Fan's fists clenched.
He knew that he had involved the girl in this.
"Go, get lost to the cafeteria and get me some food."
Dr. Wu slammed a lunchbox onto the desk in front of the girl.
The girl stood up crying.
"I will go immediately."
Just as the girl was about to grab the lunchbox, a large hand pressed on her shoulder, pushing her to sit back down on the chair.
