Su Fan's steps faltered.
"Haven't you already verified everything?"
He felt some anger in his heart.
Damn, previously, to stay in the hospital, he had relied on Bai Man, enduring humiliation and yielding to her, but now, with a hold over Director Zhang Haitao, he no longer needed Bai Man.
However, he was afraid Bai Man might say something to Li Jian, so, sigh, he had to endure.
Bai Man looked at Su Fan with a cold face.
"There is still one thing you haven't explained to me. Why did Zhang Haitao promote you this morning?"
"Moreover, it seems you already knew about it, so you were so confident?"

Indeed, what was expected had come.
Su Fan had known Bai Man would ask this.
He had already thought of an excuse.

Su Fan was speechless.
"Auntie, I'm truly wronged here. Think about it, I've only been at the hospital for a few days, and besides, you know I don't get along with Zhang Haitao. How would I know what he's thinking?"
"But, what if he needs me for something, so he was buttering me up?"

"Are you even awake? He's the director of the top city hospital, and you think he'd ask something of you, a nobody?"

"I'm not entirely useless, though. I do have some good medical skills, maybe he has some complicated illness?"
"That could be possible."
"That old fox doesn't stir without profit; if he promoted you, there must be a reason, maybe even some trickery."
"Right, I just remembered something. Tomorrow, a special patient is coming to the hospital. Remember, no matter what happens, stay far away and don't get involved."
Bai Man was about to explain, but stopped at the last moment, irritably addressing Su Fan.
"Do I need to explain myself to you? If you don't want to be fired, just mind your own business."
Having said that, Bai Man turned and walked into her room, slamming the door heavily.
Was she really angry now?
Muttering to himself, Su Fan returned to his room.
After a quick wash, he fell into a deep sleep.
Bai Man entered her room and took off her pajamas.
The hem still bore traces of Su Fan's dew.
She brought it to her nose and sniffed.
She immediately showed a look of immense enjoyment, intoxicated indeed.
Then, placing the dew-soaked part of the pajamas over her face, her slender fingers moved downwards, slowly reaching into her cavern.
Her body began to twitch.
The next day, as soon as Su Fan arrived at the hospital, Liu Ye called him into her office.
"Sister Liu, are you hungry so early in the morning?"
Seeing there was no one else, Su Fan started to get flippant.
His wandering hands reached toward Liu Ye's ample backside.
