At the age of 273, the full arrival of the Dark God occurred. Ian engaged in direct battle. He suffered defeat; his TRI-Vision was partially destroyed. For the first time, the System recommended escape. Ian obeyed.
At the age of 274, Ian abandoned the Curtained Imperium. He escaped to the Human World, where he blended into society as a Hunter. Using his system to disguise himself to appear like a normal human, he entered and passed the Hunter Association’s exams, immediately gaining the title of SSS-Rank Hunter.
At the age of 278, Ian defeated the SS-rank Guildmaster of the Moon Cat Guild in a sanctioned duel. With minimal biomass use, he shattered every technique mid-cast using his fully recovered TRI-Vision.
At the age of 281, the SSS-Rank Hunter Damon, the strongest hunter, approached Ian and offered Ian to join his guild. Ian rejected the offer. Damon warned Ian of interference. Tension naturally appeared between them. After all, Damon didn’t like how Ian just rejected him perfunctorily.
At the age of 299, tensions escalated into a skirmish in Low Earth Orbit. The fight shifted into the upper atmosphere and broke into interplanetary space. Ian used his Solar Laser Eye, converting the millions of concentrated solar energy compressed from every cell on his body into high-density radiation bursts. One planet was destroyed as collateral damage. Damon transformed into his Super Annihilation Form and managed to brush off the laser with a wave of his hand. With a punch from Damon, three large planets crumbled, and Ian had to transform into his Ultimate Paths 2 to beat Damon into a pulp. In the end, Ian barely knocked Damon unconscious, cancelling his Super Annihilation Form.
At the age of 300, the System reminded Ian that he had accumulated two million biomass units, double his past peak. His status was officially upgraded to Ex-ranked Hunter after he defeated Damon.Preparations to re-enter the Curtained Imperium and face the God once again were initialized.
