Altering the knobs of my executive leather chair to sit more comfortable I pull the laptop on my desk in front of me and started reading the articles of Adrian James Martin.
Being found by the Martins almost twelve years ago Adrian pursued his studies on business Analytics. He is a post graduate from Oxford and took over the family business six years ago.
The luck of the draw took over. Jammy bastard got dumped in the bushes but saved by a billionaire.
Doing a good homework with all the necessary information I came back to Sunrise Industries office holding the valour of a soldier. I am destined to win this battle.
Seeing me inside his office Adrian was already fuming and was about to grab the receiver of the phone but I jump to his desk pushing my hand on the phone and stopping him from the action. "Please do not call the security." I bring out my most soft voice which was hell a lot difficult because requesting someone is actually against my personality.

I plaster a smile on my lips and use all the tantrums of a teenage girl. With a stupid pout on my face that I am never used to do I ask him "even a prisoner who is supposed to get hanged in an hour is offered a chance to execute his last wish." I make my eyes big and flutter them like an innocent girl.
He sighs and runs his hand in his hair looking me in the eye. My antics seem to have worked on the scoundrel. "What do you want to know?" He asks me tired before picking up the receiver. "I am already over burdened with work. I need a coffee to ease my nerves. Do you want to have a tea or coffee?"
So the bastard knows the courtesy rules...
I push up a fake smile. "No thank you, I have a problem of acidity. So I do not drink tea or coffee."
He signs a few papers resting on his desk before him. "If you want me to order juice or wine...." I place my hand on his that was resting on the table and he looks at me in a shock...as though his hand would get burnt with my touch and removes his hand from under mine. "No formality required Adrian. I am good." I assure him in a friendly smile and imagine pounding him with my fists.
"So what do you need to know?" He asks me again. "Everything, are we known to each other before?" I push myself back to the seat going more comfortable in the plush chair. He clears his throat and brings out his wallet from his pant pocket. Taking out a photo of a sixteenth-seventeen years old boy, he places it in front of me and asks controlling his anger. "Do you remember him?"
Bolting out of the blue I meet his eyes in a surprise. "Ja....,James...As in...Adrian...Adrian James Marshal." The words fall out of my brims in a stupor captured by his going red silver Grays.
"Yes" His voice broke arresting the whimper out of his lips and clears his throat. "If not for Augustus and his wife Angelica, the woman with the most benevolent heart, I would have been buried six feet under eleven and half years ago from now."
He was about to continue on his description when his secretary knocks the door and walks inside with a cup of coffee, cookies beside it. She turns to me with a scowl and then reaches the exit. Bloody bitch I will see you once I take care of this weasel. He was a clever rogue once upon a time but now he is conniving too.
Girls used to worship the soil Adrian James walked upon but the grease used to have his eyes only for me. Let me see if my charms still have an effect on him.
I walk around the table and sit in his lap. "What are you doing?" He asks me stunned closing the windows of his laptop.

I kiss his cheek though I was feeling an aversion to stand his touch. "I am sorry babe. I was immature and got carried away by the sweet talk of that scumbag Marcus. I couldn't see what a true love is. I insulted you and as a consequence I suffered since the day I lost you. I love you so much." Giving him my puppy eyes I play the hairs at the back of his head.
"It is okay." He tells me almost inaudible. "I excuse you." And was about to lift me out of his lap but I was not done with him yet. I needed answers on why he sabotaged my company.

I hold him firmer clasping my hands around his neck. I wish I could squeeze this neck and kill him. But I bend my head and kiss his chin. "What happened to you after the prom? I didn't see you in the college." I ask him acting honest.
"Why do you want to know?" It is in the past and you cannot change anything about what had happened in the past." He tells me hinting disinterest and trying to quit the topic but I had to find my answers. I push forward in his lap and hug him tight. "I want to know. I insist." I tell him gentler pulling my lips to an 'o' of a cute little girl. "You are not going to make it easy for me. Do you?" All my tricks still work for the bloody son of a bitch. "Your dad pushed me to an accident." He declares going stoical. I flutter my eyes like an innocent Barbie doll and go acting nonplussed. "What?"
"Yes" he nods. "The accident was a planned murder and was brutal. I would have lost my life if not for the kind-hearted Martins." Saving this skunk the bloody fools brought a calamity in my life. "My face went to a pulp and I was operated thrice for a plastic surgery only to restore a face unknown to me with a new identity."
"I am very sorry baby." Holding his head I fondle his cheeks with the pads of my thumbs. "So all this you uphold" my eyes wander around his opulent office "is actually an inheritance from the Martins?" He shook and replied thoughtful. "They helped me with the capital investment I built this office with my own efforts. I returned Augustus with the money but I can never pay back the Martins for the efforts they have taken to restore my life." He told with sincerity. If the snake holds a heart, why did he bring me to shackles? He should have been a sage and practiced non-violence. After all destiny had favoured him more by accident than by design.
"I am so sorry James...for everything you had to endure because of me and my father." I hold his shoulders. He tries to pull away from my touch. "You are going too much touchy and I wish to kindly tell you, I am someone else's belonging." He tells me in a caution.
Fuck that! I plaster a forced smile.
My eyes caught the CCTV footage while he was sipping his coffee. A woman with a huge belly probably five to six months pregnant was walking towards his office. She greeted his secretary and walks straight inside the room without an appointment. Possessing the confidence and the intimacy she was walking inside the office, I understood she was his wife, girlfriend or someone relating to his family.
It was my apt time to explore the opportunity and teach this hound a lesson. I pulled my head closer and kissed him. Exactly at the moment the woman walks inside. The lady's eyes fell stunned unable to move as she covers her lips to probably prevent a squeal. Her eyes well tears in an celerity surrounding with rivulets in no time. Adrian's moments go halted in shock as he puts me down and tries to walk to her. Stopping him on his steps before he reaches the woman I shout acting anger but do a happy dance in my head. "Who are you?"
She purses her lips getting to a smoulder. If looks could kill I would have been buried by now. She pulls her left hand up, flashes a ring and runs out of the room. "Adrian, I am so sorry, I didn't know you are married." I run my hands from his shoulder to his chest acting a guiltless with a look of hurt. "It is alright please leave now." He almost pleads.
Now die in that shit hole you useless piece of shit for everything you did to me.
I flap my eyes like a blameless kitten and walk out of his office with a victorious smile.
