Liam walked into the children's section of the library and stopped on his tracks when he heard a very familiar voice.
He felt his heart warming at the mere sound of it. He couldn't understand the reason for it though. He had never felt anything like this before. He have had his fair share of relationships.
Well, not exactly relationships. Flings. No strings attached flings.
And there were more girls that he could count. Not once have he ever felt such a feeling on hearing any of their voices. And this seems so strange to him. He shook his head to dispel those unwanted thoughts and looked towards the direction from where that voice was coming from.
" 'Why are you shaking the jungle to pieces??' Cried the parrot who had never seen an elephant before 'What kind of an animal are you anyway??' It asked"
A smile formed on his lips on seeing Mirrie sitting on a bean bag surrounded by a dozen five year olds, who all had their rapt attention on her expressive face.
Her face was so animated and she was telling the story, changing the voices according to change in character. And it was so bloody captivating.
" 'I don't know what kind of an animal I am. I live all alone in the jungle, and I dance and I kick - and I call myself Sooki. It's a good sounding name and it fits me. Don't you think so?" She said in a more heavy sound and made a sound imitating a little elephant.
He couldn't help but chuckle thinking how cute she looked at that moment.
Cute? An adjective he never used for a girl before. The only adjectives in his vocabulary were hot and sexy. What the hell is happening to him?
He saw her phone lying there and a smirk appeared on his face. He took it from there, without her noticing.
Once his work was done, he kept the phone back and leaned on a bookshelf listening to her storytelling. He looked so passionate when she was narrating the story.
Seems like she is obsessed with children's books. After all she is writing one herself.
Once the story telling session was over he cleared his throat gaining her attention.
She looked up and her eyes widened in surprise and she turned around immediately to wear her glasses.
But too late...he saw her eyes.
The prettiest eyes ever!!
Pretty? That's the second new adjective in his vocabulary now..
Why does she hide behind her glasses??
Along with it came the nagging feeling ,why do those eyes seem so familiar? As if he have seen them before.
"What are you doing here??" Zada frowned seeing Liam Fredrick looking at her leaning against a bookshelf.
"I am your shadow, my beloved. You cannot leave me behind," he said in a husky voice making her frown.
"I have heard this dialogue in some movie!!" Zada said her lips pressed in a thin line showing her irritation and he chuckled.
"Liam," she heard a high pitched squeal and turned to see, one among the five year old she had been telling the story to ,run towards him and throw herself at him with a gleeful laugh.
"Shona" Liam picked her up and twirled her around making the little girl laugh merrily and a smile formed on Zada's lips
Who would have thought?? Liam Fredrick would be so good with a kid.

Zada lay down on her bed after a shower.
She had started volunteering at the children's library last week.
The one person she hadn't expected to meet there was Liam Fredrick.
She hadn't seen him for a week after the moment they had in the corridor.
She really didn't want to see the annoying boy.
She heard her phone binge and opened it to see a notification indicating a message from Mr Sexy.
Who the hell is Mr Sexy??
Did Zahir change his name on her phone?
Because he is the one person in her life who is cocky enough to do something like this.
But opening the message reminded her that there is another equally cocky person who had forced his way into her life now.
