This flesh colossus towered more than ten people high, its aura fully unleashed, reeking and chill-inducing, causing dread within all who beheld it.
Corpses are gluttons for flesh.
Such a gigantic flesh colossus was no exception. .
Upon sensing the breath of the living around it, two fissures tore open on the grotesquely massive head of the flesh colossus, resembling two jet-black crimson eyes, gazing at Mr. Hui and the others.
At the same time, its body began to writhe, a swift wave of its fleshly arms conjured a bloody gust, sweeping towards the crowd.
When facing a major enemy, especially being the closest, the faster one runs, the quicker one dies.
Moreover, he was the nearest; it was already too late to escape.
"Everyone, strike together, subdue this beast!"
Mr. Hui shouted loudly, then gritted his teeth, immediately retrieving an entire bottle of treasured Blood Wine, pouring it over the Formation, biting his finger, putting it to his forehead, and chanting an enigmatic incantation fervently, activating the ancient Taoist Array Plate he had set up—a formation yet not a formation, talisman yet not a talisman.
Instantly, brilliance exploded from the Array Plate.
One by one, ancient and profound script patterns emerged, forming a layer of light screen.
The bloody storm stirred by the flesh colossus crashed directly against the light screen like a scarlet tide.
A colossal roar rang out, sending intense oscillations rippling outward.
The light of the Array Plate dimmed slightly, while the bloody tide of the colossus began to evaporate.
The flesh colossus’s first wave of assault was thus neutralized, but in the blink of an eye, amidst a roar filled with rotten flesh and stench, the colossus raised its arm again to strike down.
The enormous arm, entwined with ghastly zombies, descended like a shadow upon Mr. Hui.
Mr. Hui was activating the Array Plate, with no escape path; seeing the swarming arm, along with the gloomy dead air, coming to demise himself, he immediately gritted his teeth and exploded the Yellow Jade Talisman.
The Yellow Jade Blood Pattern Talisman detonated, producing rays of golden light that rose skyward, shattering the flesh colossus’s arm into pieces.
Countless pieces of flesh rained down like showers.
Mr. Hui promptly summoned his own Magic Treasure, an Earth Series shield, to protect his body from being tainted by the flesh colossus’s rain.
The flesh colossus’s arm, shattered by the Yellow Jade Talisman explosion, began to reconstitute.
In a blink, countless broken limbs and flesh once again gathered, forming a new arm.
This arm was thicker, twined with a sinister black, even dripping bloody water.
Before Mr. Hui could react, the arm, bearing fury, black qi and blood, pressed towards him.
And Mr. Hui’s maneuvers were nearly exhausted.
If he were to endure this strike stubbornly, his own shield would shatter, causing him to lose his life here.
"Help, quick!"
Mr. Hui turned his head, screaming in anger.
Stone quickly stood by Mr. Hui, shouting loudly, activating Golden Core power, covering himself in earth and stone armor, intending to withstand the colossus’s attack with Mr. Hui.
Mouse glanced slightly, didn’t act, but took a few steps back.
In contrast, the four black-robed cultivators intervened.
They seemed to see Mr. Hui still useful and didn’t want him dead here.
The black-robed young cultivator swung a longsword, sending out blood lights.
The black-robed old cultivator brought forth a strangely shaped short knife, its blade emanating dark light.
The two other burly men seemed to focus on Body Cultivation, they neither used Spiritual Artifacts nor Magic Treasures, but directly attacked the flesh colossus with their physical strength.
With a thunderous boom, an explosion resounded, blowing flesh away.
Even some zombie limbs flew over Mo Hua’s head.
Mo Hua had already drawn a Second Grade Nineteen Patterns Gold Stone Formation on the ground, hiding within to avoid getting involved.
Though the Second Grade Nineteen Patterns Formation was one pattern short of Twenty Patterns, it couldn’t withstand Golden Core attacks.
But to block the aftermath of the battle was no problem.
Mo Hua knew himself to be "frail," thus had huddled inside the formation early on.

Yet the Gold Stone Formation met Mo Hua’s expectations and ultimately held firm.
Once the storm began to subsist, Mo Hua looked up, seeing Mr. Hui before the colossal bright yellow copper coffin, appearing disheveled, with his own shield looking dim.
Stone’s earth and stone armor was completely cracked.
Mouse stood by, face slightly pale, yet appeared unscathed.
The two black-robed burly men, their robes torn more than half, exposed muscular bodies beneath, but still didn’t reveal their faces.
The black-robed young cultivator and old cultivator, one controlling the sword, one controlling the knife, stood a bit farther, thus were unaffected.
Against the crowd, under the combined attack of six or seven Golden Core experts, the massive flesh colossus, its arms had been rendered useless.
Mo Hua was secretly startled.
The flesh colossus was indeed strong, but these few Golden Core cultivators, particularly the black-robed ones, seemed pretty formidable as well.
