But before the laughter could continue for long, he saw his kin’s head burst open, splattering his face with fresh blood.
Stiffly turning his head to look, he saw a Human with golden gauntlets around his hands, smirking at him as he withdrew his blood-stained right hand, "I never thought I’d see the day when I felt you Dwarf Ghosts were really weak!"
When the forces of the Human Clan and the Dwarf Ghost Clan collided, the situation instantly revealed an unexpected scene.
The Dwarf Ghost Clan, with their high self-regard, still held the image of the Human Clan as nothing more than livestock to be bullied and devoured at will. Therefore, they didn’t gather their Soul Power immediately when faced with the onrush of the Humans.
Based on past experiences, the stone weapons in the hands of the Humans could be blocked without even using Soul Power.
But as the Humans drew closer, the Dwarf Ghosts suddenly felt that something was amiss.
The clothing of these Humans seemed a bit too nice, their appearances a bit too clean.
