The Stone Tribe was not particularly large; the two thousand plus members of the Stone Tribe had not taken long to gather altogether and come to their tribe’s farmland.
These members of the Stone Tribe were all staring blankly ahead, gazing at Lin Qian next to their Clan Leader with curiosity and reverence.
As for Shi Kang and Shi Mei in the crowd, due to their current condition, they stood out notably, looking toward Lin Qian with eyes filled with gratitude and admiration.
"Is everyone here?" Lin Qian turned his head to look at Shi Niu, speaking out to ask, "I need the most certain answer, not a single person can remain in those dangerous stone houses."
Hearing Lin Qian’s inquiry, Shi Niu nodded very certainly, "Benefactor, everyone is already here."
"Let them group by family, with the most needy in front," Lin Qian silently nodded, instructing Shi Niu and Shi Meng.
The two of them also arranged their own tribespeople according to Lin Qian’s orders, forming a longer line before him.
After the people had lined up, Lin Qian turned around and summoned maximum Thunder Soul Power. He raised his right hand, condensing and rotating the Soul Power into a spherical shape.
Following that, Lin Qian hurled the ball of Soul Power toward the farmland with all his might.
The Soul Power Ball collided with the land that was planted with food, emitting a thunderous roar that sent dust flying and a strong wind sweeping all around.
Immediately after, Lin Qian pushed forward with his palm, howling palm winds blowing back the dust and wind, revealing the original state of the land.
The land that had been planted with grain had vanished, replaced instead by a wide pit.
Lin Qian’s action left everyone dumbfounded, staring at what was before them.
Shi Yun could clearly see the faces of his own people changing colors, a surprising anger emerging.
"Everyone stand still and wait for Lord Lin Qian’s next command; whoever does not will be expelled from the Stone Tribe!" Shi Yun circulated his Soul Power, shouting at the tribe’s members who were showing signs of unrest.
Hearing the Clan Leader’s shout, the originally restless members of the Stone Tribe gradually quieted down. Clan Leader Shi Yun’s words had a formidable deterrent effect on them.
But just then, the angry gazes of the Stone Tribe members toward Lin Qian turned to astonishment.
Because they clearly saw that the odd young man, after waving away their farmland, merely raised his hand, and clear streams of water miraculously appeared out of thin air, falling from the sky.
In an instant, those thin streams transformed into a surging water dragon, pouring crazily into that large pit.
In the blink of an eye, a pond filled with clear streams of water had appeared before them.
All of the Stone Tribe’s members stared at the pond, dumbstruck, unable to utter a word. They had never seen such clean, such abundant water before!
Lin Qian raised his hand once more, and a white jade platform thundered down from mid-air.
After the appearance of the white jade platform, Lin Qian turned and walked upon it, signaling the first family of five in line with a gesture, "Come up."
The thin couple, with their three children, climbed onto the platform with trepidation and approached Lin Qian.
The gaunt man swallowed, his face a blank as he looked at the young man before him.
Lin Qian waved his hand gently, and two cloth bags appeared on the ground in front of him, along with a spacious wooden box, as well as a shoulder pole and two water buckets.
"This is for your family," Lin Qian said, gesturing towards the items and speaking to the man.
The gaunt man, upon hearing Lin Qian’s words, opened the cloth bag in front of him that was made of a material even finer than the clothes on his back, and was instantly stunned.
Inside the bag were grains of plump white rice. He had never seen rice this good-looking before; there was no black or yellow, just sheer translucent beauty.
The gaunt man quickly opened another cloth bag, finding it filled with fresh fruits and vegetables, and meat that he had heard of but never seen.
His wife opened a wooden box to find it contained soft, clean clothes, identical to those given to Shi Niu’s family.
Another noise rang out, and everyone turned their heads in confusion, only to see a stone house not far away smashed to pieces by a wooden house that had seemingly dropped from the sky, crushing what lay beneath.
Lin Qian pointed to the wooden house and said to the gaunt man, "That is your home, take your wife and children and move in. If you need water, go fetch it from behind there yourself."
The gaunt man, upon hearing Lin Qian’s words, stood still as if in a dream.
"Shi Erniu, what are you still dazed for? After thanking your benefactor, hurry on down; the other tribespeople are waiting," Shi Niu hurriedly shouted to his cousin, who was still lost in surprise on the platform.
Only then did Shi Erniu come to his senses, hastily leading his wife and children to kneel before Lin Qian and express their gratitude.
Lin Qian did not refuse, accepted their thanks, and watched them take their leave.
In an instant, the entire Stone Tribe was abuzz, looking at Lin Qian standing on the stone platform with tearful eyes filled with surprise and delight.
There were no longer any stone-built houses in the Stone Tribe, all were replaced by the wooden houses that Lin Qian had brought from the Huaxia Empire.
These houses, constructed swiftly by the Fire Department upon Lin Qian’s request, were made of a type of ironwood from the Empire, thrice as solid as the mountains’ stone.
A craftsman could make one as easily as swallowing saliva.
But for the people of the Stone Tribe, these held an extraordinary significance.
The whole Stone Tribe had been transformed, with clean and warm wooden houses, the tribespeople were clean, wearing new clothes, each well-fed and happy, faces brimming with satisfaction.
When Lin Qian first arrived at the Stone Tribe, he clearly saw fear and bewilderment on the faces of the tribespeople; compared to now, it was a world apart.
"Big brother is there!" Behind Lin Qian, standing at the roadside, came the excited voices of the children, and when he turned to look, he saw more than twenty kids running towards him.
Cleaned up and dressed in new clothes, these children were no different from children of the Human Clan outside, innocent and youthful.
The children crowded around Lin Qian, bombarding him with curious questions about what the outside world was like.
Clan Leader Shi Yun had explained to the tribespeople about Lin Qian’s initial remarks. The children didn’t fully understand, but they knew there was a much bigger and better world outside, and their benefactor, big brother, had come from there.
"Trouble, the Giant Ghost Clan is coming, the Giant Ghost Clan is coming!" As Lin Qian was answering the curious questions of the children, screams of horror and shouts of alarm came from a distance, and the children by his side too began to panic.
"Don’t be afraid, big brother is here; nothing will happen to you all from now on," Lin Qian quickly said, looking at the frightened children with a grave face.
Hearing Lin Qian’s words, the children inexplicably felt at ease, their panic gradually subsided, and they nodded their little heads.
"Go back home, good children. Big brother will go and see what’s happening," Lin Qian instructed, and the children scattered.
After the children had left, Lin Qian’s expression turned grim, cold as frost, he turned and walked towards the entrance of the tribe.
