The person on the bed noticed the movement at the door, turned his head, saw Lin Qian, and his expression froze; he clenched his jaw and his nostrils flared, his voice somewhat choked, “Lin… Brother Lin.”
Lin Qian took a deep breath, quickly walked to the bedside, and pulled back the blanket covering Bai Ren’s lower body.
Broken, what Lin Qian saw were a pair of severed legs.
Below Bai Ren’s knees, the pant legs were empty, only his thighs remained, allowing him to sit on the bed.
