It didn’t take long for him to agree to her proposal because it involves pleasure. He’s a nerd and nobody wants to date him because of it. He agreed to help Sarah pass in exchange for her teaching him how to kiss and pleasure a girl. Sarah taught him how to kiss, she can’t believe how much of a beginner he was but even though he bites her lips she finds it hot.”
I looked at her. “I can’t believe youa re going to tell me a sexy story. What if my child walks in here and she hears you?
“Don’t be a hypocrite Fertine as if you didn’t have a lot of books about this stuff.” She rolled her eyes.
“Fine, go on.” I sighed.
“After their session, he helped her with the exam and Sarah passed it but her teachers are doubting her because she’s a rebel student and it’s impossible for her to perfect the exam but the teachers let it slide. Days goes by, Sarah and David are seen together, few are noticing it but David’s childhood friend, Kenny who is also a nerd is concerned for him. She threatened Sarah to leave David alone but Sarah just shrugged it off. She doesn’t give a damn about the two nerds, all she needs is to pass everything and graduate and they will no longer be useful. Casey, who is Sarah’s on and off boyfriend, is with his Mom when they visit their house. Sarah and Kenny mom are friends ever since even after Sarah lost their wealth. But she’s chained to her mother’s debt to Kenny’s parents because she wants her to marry Kenny so they don’t need to pay for the debts. Sarah and David become closer with their learning sessions and without Sarah knowing, David falls in love with her and wants to ask her to be his date on the grand ball but he is too scared to be rejected especially when he sees Sarah and Kenny kissing.”
“Then what happened?” I asked.
Her brows raised.
“I thought you don’t like this kind of story?”
“Oh shut up, Freeda.” I told her.
“Geez, calm down I’m going to continue.”, She laughed.
“To everyone’s surprise, Nina the nerd transformed into a pretty girl in the grand ball which makes everyone wonder who’s gonna be the prom queen between Sarah and Nina. In the end of the night, Sarah took home the crown and so did Kenny who also won as prom king. Happiness comes with sadness and Sarah learned that in a worse way when she saw Kenny making out with Nina so to get revenge she asked David to drive in a hotel. That night they lost their innocence but they became a man and a woman. No one knew that Sarah and David are something else, no one ever had a clue on what they did on the vacation trip they had. It took days for the David and Sarah sex tape to be out on the internet. When they had a vacation trip with their classmates, Sarah and David had sex but they didn’t know they’re being filmed by someone. Sarah’s world crumbled, she was disgusted with herself, she’s ashamed of what she has become. Both David and Sarah are called to the dean’s office together with their parents. David’s mother is annoyed with Sarah, believing that she ruined her son, Magnus stood up for her but her mother doesn’t believe him because Nina is feeding her wrong information. On that same day when Sarah’s mom and her fought, her little sister Bliss fainted and rushed to the hospital.”
“Turns out she has a tumor inside her brain, they need a lot of money for the operation but they don’t know where to look for help. Kenny’s mom refused to help them. Sarah is hopeless, her mind is off of the sex tape that she has because her sister is more important than anything, even over her heart. David’s Mom offered to give them money for her sister’s operation, in one condition, to leave David and never meet with him again. She doesn’t have a choice but to agree because her sister’s life is on her hands. On the graduation day, she rejected David’s gift for her and dumped him without even telling the truth. Everything gets worse when Sarah finds out that her father is involved in an accident paralyzing him.”
“Damn, that is a lot of things to happen in just a day.” I said.
“It does.” She answered.
“Four years later, Sarah is working as a waitress in a coffee shop; she didn’t pursue college to help with her family’s needs. Anny, her co worker who became her friend offered her a side job where she can model for sports car, unfortunately her beauty captivated perverts and try to take advantage of her, at the moment of desperation for help she didn’t know it will come in the form of David, the only man she ever love. Her mind is too occupied by the things that happened to her that night but she wouldn’t forget how David has changed, long gone he’s nerdy glasses. He’s all different now, he’s a hot guy with his toned body that Sarah couldn’t take it all in and give in when he teased her and he made love to her above the sports car he bought on the car show.”
I stood up from my chair. “Well I bet she’s going to meet him at that car show. I bet my ass she will meet him!”
“Calm down, Fertine.” She laughed.
“When Sarah was on her duty at the coffee shop, she didn’t expect to see Kenny there, they talked for a bit and soon she found out that he wanted to help her, the thing that Kenny’s mother failed to do. He offers her a modeling job but Sarah refuses to get any kind of help from them. Luckily she received a call from one of the companies she applied for, her salary at the coffee shop is not enough for their needs so she needed a better salary and she’s overjoyed when the company hired her.
As she told me the story.. I can’t get off my mind off of him.
The setting light gave a lovely golden glow over the city, and my thoughts turned to him. Months had passed since the day he left the nation and vanished from my life, and I still hadn’t seen him. But now I had heard he was coming back, and I was filled with a mixture of excitement and fear.
Like a deluge of emotions, memories poured into my consciousness. I remembered how, the first time we met, his eyes caught mine and drew me into an exciting new world. We set off on an adventure together, delving into the unknowns of love and vulnerability, our spirits dancing together in a tango of compassion and ardor. Every intimate gesture and statement imprinted itself on my whole existence.
Our love bloomed swiftly but died as a result of forces beyond our control. Our separation felt as brutal and unrelenting as a tornado ripping through a delicate garden. And in the aftermath, the separation had left wounds and scars.
Now, hearing about his homecoming has caused an emotional roller coaster inside of me. An element of me yearned for a reunion with him, to once more gaze into his loving eyes. I questioned whether or not the passage of time and physical separation had altered him. The sound of my laughter, the taste of my tears on his tongue — would he still remember them?
However, there was also a more sobering side of me, a voice of reason that kept bringing up the pain we had gone through. Its hushed tones evoked images of broken dreams, sleepless nights, and soggy pillows. It cautioned me to keep my emotions in check, lest I risk hurting myself by digging up past wounds.
Love, however, has an illogical and unreasonable way of working. Despite the warnings, I desperately wanted to have faith in second opportunities. It hinted at mending fences, maturing, and rekindling into a love that could last.
I was able to calm my racing thoughts and feelings by focusing on what was happening right now. I had to remind myself that neither my past nor my connection to him are the sum total of who I am. During our separation, I was able to develop and learn about myself. And whether he comes back into my life or not, I know I can handle anything comes my way.
I promised myself in my mind as the dusk sky grew darker. I’d welcome the unknown with open arms, ready to take on whatever lies ahead. If our lives ever cross again, I intend to be open and honest with him, asking the things that have been nagging at the back of my mind.
I’m just going to throw caution to the wind for the time being. And in this interim between his return and our possible reunion, I will find the strength to trust the journey, even if it takes me in a different direction than I had originally planned.
