It’s hard if you don’t have sportsmanship in your blood and you’ll be afraid of cool things. My eyes drifted at the girls playing volleyball at the sand. A deafening noise echoed all around.
“Get the E.R. ready!”
“Call Doc. Ramon”
A nurse shouted while supporting a few nurses who were running quickly while pushing the stretcher.
“Doc is here.” Said a nurse who was by the door of the E.R.
The people inside the E.R. immediately took action, immediately applying an oxygen mask to the patient.
“Doc! The heartbeat!” All the attention in the entire room was captured when hearing what a nurse said, they looked at the device on the side of the patient at the same time, the wavy line on the screen gradually turned into a single line.
“Cardiac Arrest!”
“Yes, doc!”
“Ready!”
The familiar sound made everyone inside the emergency room stop.
Ustin quickly ran to the doctors who came out of the emergency room where Elena was.
“Doc! Doc! How is Elena? What happened? Is she okay? Where is she now? Can I see her?” Uston quickly asked but, he only received a bow as a response.
“Sorry shark, We did everything.” Doc. Ramones promised.
“W-what?” Ustin asked the doctors in confusion, as if his world had collapsed upon hearing that.
“The patient lost a lot of blood because he wasn’t taken to the hospital immediately. The impact of the crash was too strong for him, his body and the child couldn’t handle it, I’m sorry.” The Doctor said sadly.
It seemed that nothing would hurt more than the words he heard from the doctor, his world stopped.
“Our dear Elena, has returned to the company of our good Father.” The priest said in front of many people who attended Elena’s funeral.
While Ustin was staring into nothingness, while the priest spoke in front of him.
“It happened because of me.”
“If I hadn’t said those words then, I wouldn’t have lost him.”
“My mother and daughter are gone.”
“It’s all my fault.” Those are just a few words that play in Ustin’s mind.
“Ma’am? Sir?”
“Wait, just a moment.” Hailey said, while washing her hand full of dish soap, she walked to the door and opened it.
“Good Morning, Ma’am, is this the house of Mr. Ustin Demarilyo?” The Delivery Man, who looked to be only in his mid 20’s, smiled.
“Yes, I’m his sister, but he’s not accepting visitors right now, because he’s locking himself inside the room.” Hailey told the delivery man that Hailey is Ustin’s younger sister.
“That’s right ma’am, OK, you’re the only one to receive it. Please sign here.” He handed a piece of paper to Hailey, she took it and signed it, then the delivery man gave her a box that wasn’t big and small just the right size.
“Thank you, ma’am.” After the delivery man said that, he left.
Hailey couldn’t help but be surprised when she looked at the box, it didn’t say where it was from.
Ustin just got down from the second floor.
“Brother, there is a delivery for you.” Hailey said but Ustin just passed her.
“Throw that away, I’m sure it’s sympathy again.” Ustin said from the kitchen.
“Haynako! If you don’t want to open it, I’ll be the one to open it.” Hailey whispered to herself.
Out of surprise, he finally opened the box, but he was very surprised to see that the only thing inside was confetti, so he dug under it and there he found something thin.
It’s a letter, with nothing written as to whom.
“What is that?” Ustin asked when he got out of the kitchen. He snatched the letter from Hailey’s hand. He didn’t know why he was nervous when he opened the envelope.
Hailey also couldn’t deny that there was something strange about that letter.
Itin stiffened like a stone when he read the contents of the envelope.
“Brother? What’s inside?” Hailey asked, but he didn’t answer her.
That’s why he took the letter from his hands, there he saw a white paper with a measurement in the middle
“I’m not dead yet.” They were written in red, which looked like the color of blood.
Hailey found on the back of the letter a photo where Elena was there and someone who looked like her, they were wearing the same clothes, the same color, and the same haircut. The two look alike. They are holding each other’s arms and smiling happily. His eyes widened when he saw that, he raised his eyes to turn to Ustin, he was also staring at the photo he was holding, but unlike him, there was no trace of shock on his face like him.

Her cheeks are also red and her pinkish lips are pouty. It is also white and tall. Has long brown and wavy hair. Looks like a foreign race. Her chest was also big, like she was spitting on her bikini, so he couldn’t help but stare at it. His back is also plump.
They seem to be talking happily. I see again in him the mischievous Wilder I know.

So happy!

Our eyes met. He smiles at me like there’s nothing going on in there. I turned my back on them. I walk away. I quickly walked away from her.
“Fertine!” I heard Wilder called my name but I’m too furious to even look at him.
I felt someone grab my hand. I turned around. “Let go of me!” I screamed at him. “Why are you here?! Why did you follow?! You’re talking to someone, right? Why did you leave? It looks like your conversation is good because you’re smiling!”
“Is that the reason why you walk away? Because you don’t want to disturb us talking?” He said curiously.
“Yes! Another thing is that you seem to enjoy what you see!” He pulled me closer to him. “Stay away from me!” I pulled away.
“You’re so jealous…” He chuckled. “W-what?! I’m not jealous!” I screamed again.
“Yeah, then why are you so mad?” He said laughing. “I’m not mad at all! Get over that girl! Shoo! Get out!” I said pushing him away.
“You are screaming at me but your not mad, yeah you’re really not jealous.” He said smiling devilishly.
I stayed silent while staring at his eyes.
“I went up to get a life preserver for you. It’s like you’re a bit deep. I bump into her.
She’s a friend of mine. I didn’t know that we would meet here so we just talked for a while. Yes I was laughing because she cracked a joke and it was funny.” He explained.
“I don’t need your explanation, Wilder. I don’t care about you that’s why I’m leaving, right?” I said firmly.
“Then tell me why are you mad at me? Is there another reason? I saw your looking at us and you mad.” He said reaching for my hands.
“I hate you for making me feel this way.” My tears didn’t even come out without warning, so I just burst into tears in front of Wilder! It’s Bweset! I look like a jealous girlfriend even though I’m not!
He pulled me closer to him. Even though he was wet, his body was warm. I buried my head on his chest like a child so he wouldn’t see my crying.
He’s annoying!
I don’t like how I feel!
He ran his fingers on my hair. “Shh… It’s okay to be jealous Fertine. It just means that you’re feeling something more than just attraction for me.”
“What do you want to eat, Fertine?” He said while looking at the menu. We are in a classy restaurant inside the hotel. The ambiance inside is nice and their crews are quite formal.
Maybe because of the restaurant. Most of the diners are in suits and formal dresses. I feel so undress because of what they are wearing. Just wearing pants and a simple t-shirt and rubbershoes. Because Wilder didn’t tell me that this is how we’re going to eat.
He is always organized. He is not wearing a polo shirt and denim shorts. The other men are wearing the same, but if you look around here inside, I’m the only woman you’ll see wearing pants because everyone is wearing a dress.
I was ashamed to look at him. I cried because of him! He even saw that. You’re really embarrassing Fertine. After I dramatized him, we went back to the hotel room.
