" knock knock," I heard from the other side of the door.
"Come in," I said back to the person, looking up to see my beta john entering my office.
( I know you are wondering why my beta has to knock before entering my office, well I have been caught in a compromising position and I don't want a repeat of that so everyone must knock before entering).
" Can you smell that?" my wolf asked in my head.
" yeah smells annoying."
"John why do you smell weird and annoying," I asked him scrunching my nose in distaste.
"What do you mean Alex?" he said standing by the entrance of the door, confusion was written all over his face.
"Just forget that I said anything and tell me why you are here," I said covering the documents I was signing on my laptop to give him attention.
" Alex, remember when I told you about my mate's best friend who was coming so she could attend the ball and visit for some time."
"Yes go on," I remembered the idiot blabbing about something like that, but I wasn't interested in what he was saying so I zoomed out.
"Well she is here but asleep right now so when she wakes up you can see her."
" so you expect me to wait for a stranger to wake up before I can see them."
"Sorry, Alex but she's kind of tried because of the jet lag of the flight," he said trying to desperately make me understand.
"Alright but she better see me immediately when she wakes up, I don't want a stranger roaming about my pack," I commanded him and he nodded his head.
" yes Alpha," he responded and left my office, so I resume back to what I was doing earlier.

" knock knock," can't I just have some peace?.
"Alpha she's ready," John said walking into my office with that weird annoying, and unexplainable scent from earlier. After this, I will tell him to change his soap.
"OK give me a minute."
Rounding up my work and shutting down my laptop. I have been trying to negotiate with some powerful witches to put a spell across each pack but their demands are high.
Stretching my body and neck, I stood up from my chair and followed my beta behind.
Reaching the hallway, I realize the weird scent was becoming stronger. I tried keeping my wolf in check because was being annoyed and making me uncomfortable, probably cause we have not gone for a run in some days. (reminder go for a run).
" where is she-wolf?" I asked john because we were already standing by the entrance of the door.
"She will be here soon. I already mind linked my mate there were by the pool."
" well she better hurry up, I don't have all the time in the world."
Poor John, am not always this rude towards him but lately have getting annoyed at anything he's the closest person to me after my father. He's like the brother I never had.
Hearing some footsteps, the annoying scent became stronger, so it wasn't john, good cause that would have been bad.
Looking up I saw a darker skin woman behind my beta's mate and my wolf immediately yelled the last thing I expected.
"HATE?"".
What the hell is he saying? What is his hate? has he finally lost it and gone wild?.
A black girl with darker shade stood before me ( have I mention that before well if not I HATE GIRL). I looked at is the body she was too curvy for my taste, have I mention I love my woman blond, slim, yeah small tits and ass. NICE.

I can also see her checking me out in distaste, so she was the annoying scent I was smelling.
" I hate green eyes and guys not having bread ", I heard her muttering to herself .weird girl and annoying voice.
" I am Alpha Alex, welcome to the sunlight pack hope you be on your best behavior ", I told her in a monotone voice bringing out my hand to shake hers just to receive a weird burn.
"Do you have powers or something or are you a witch!" I asked her hissing in pain not before removing my hands from her.
" I should be asking you that, you asshole can't you see that you have injured me, and it's your mother who is a witch," she said raising her hand in the air to show a red mark on her hand.
Ignoring her insult, why we get burn why we held each other probably just my imagination or she's probably a witch and she's lying.
"Well my beta will explain our pack rules and regulations I hope you are smart enough to understand I have somewhere important to be ", I said to her and dismissed myself from her presence even though I have no place to be just trying to get away from her annoying voice, body, and scent.
There is something about her...well like I said just my imagination.
Seriously what was that all about.
I was right she's a witch.
