"Cut it out, Long Yifan," she said, her tone sharp but not unkind. "Where are you right now?"
Long Yifan paused for a moment before replying, a little sheepishly.
"Uh... I’m leaving Fu Jio City," he said, his tone a bit hesitant. "I was actually heading toward the broken teleportation array. I thought... maybe I could figure out how to use it to reach Beijing City."

"Come with me," she said, her tone serious.

Without hesitation, Gu Jin placed her hand on the teleportation array once again. The glow returned immediately, and before Long Yifan could ask another question—
In a flash of golden light, they were standing in Beijing City’s teleportation array.
Long Yifan stumbled slightly, blinking in confusion.
"W-What just happened?" he asked, looking around in shock.
Gu Jin let go of his hand and stepped back.
"Did... did you fix the array?" Long Yifan asked, his eyes wide with surprise.
Gu Jin shook her head, her lips curving into a small, mysterious smile.
"Kind of," she said softly, her tone teasing but vague.

"Now leave. Beijing City is still a few hours away from here! You will have to figure out how to reach there on time."
But Long Yifan grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Don’t worry about that," he said with a confident smile. "I’ve got a solution."
Gu Jin crossed her arms, her expression skeptical. "What solution?"
Long Yifan’s grin widened.
"I built a portal in my house," he said proudly. "As long as I’m within 200 kilometers of it, I can use it to instantly teleport to Beijing City. So..."

"We can be there in two minutes."
