Hearing that, Marcello smashed the champagne glass cup on his head. He started to bleed and everyone diverted their gaze to where he stood with his father.
"Why did you just tell me that?" Marcello growled angrily, his face was a deep, fiery red, like molten lava about to erupt. His eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, burning with a rage that seemed to consume him whole. His jaw was clenched so tightly that his teeth seemed to be grinding against each other, and his fists were balled up at his sides, trembling with suppressed fury.
Veins bulged from his neck and forehead, pulsating with anger, and his breathing was short and ragged, like a beast about to unleash its wrath. His entire body seemed to vibrate with tension, as if he was a coiled spring ready to snap at any moment.
"Forgive me, young master. I didn't know how to..." He stuttered, not caring at the blood strolling down his head. The people standing around started to murmur but Marcello wasn't the type to care.
As he began to speak, his voice was low and menacing, a growl that sent shivers down the spines of those around him.
"Take me to where he is, right now!"
He didn't say anything to his father as he stormed out of the hall. His father just smirked and sipped from his glass cup.
"He's acting like he would if that his friend was still alive. What's his name again? Ah! Carlo" he laughed and faced his guests.
"Go on! Let's continue to have fun!" He announced and the music continued.
Marcello, on the other hand entered the car as the driver left his father's estate.
"They are heading to the airport. It seems like they are leaving for Russia"
"Shut down the airport. No one must go out or come in! I want him trapped"
"Yes young master" one of his men replied, tapping the screen of the phone.
Marcello's eyes were fixed outside the car. He was acting calm on the outside while he was raging on the inside. He couldn't stop questioning himself on why Eduardo would decide to leave. He had treated him with the utmost care and gave him the perfect room.
What else does he want?
The car drive faster and in thirty minutes, they were at the airport. the security led him into the airport, welcoming him. Everyone around were scared of Marcello, even those that didn't know who he was. His aura was screaming danger that everyone left the way for him. His men behind spread around the airport, looking for Eduardo.
It took just five minutes for them to find them. His men dragged Nadia and her other two men to where Marcello was standing. Some people were even recording what was happening, hoping to upload it on the internet.
Nadia was on the floor, sweating. She was also shivering in fear, seeing Marcello in front of her. Marcello lit a stick of cigarette and placed it on his lips.
"Where is he?" He asked just once.
Nadia refused to answer. She was still trembling in fear. One of her two guards answered.
"He went to the bathroom" he answered.
Marcello signalled them and they went to find Eduardo.
Eduardo was finally brought out before them. Two of Marcello's men had been beaten by him already.
Marcello saw Eduardo and got closer to him.
"Were you planning on running away?"
"I have no reason to be with you. Why wouldn't you let me go?" he replied.
"I see. You don't have any reason. I guess I'll have to give you one" Marcello stretched his hands and took a gun from one of his men.
Eduardo thought he was the one going to end up shot but, one of Nadia's men ended up dead after the first shot. People in the airport were screaming, trying to run but the exit and entrance have been closed. They thought it was a terrorist attack and the security tried to calm them down.
There was no way they would calm down when someone just died in front of them.
Nadia screamed and leaned her head on the floor, still trembling in fear.
Eduardo clenched his fist by his side and glared at Marcello.
"Did you say you have no reason to stay with me?" He asked again. Eduardo gulped the emptiness in his mouth. "Say those words one more time and I'll shoot the next person. I have no idea who's going next. Him... Or her" he pointed at the gun.
He was planning on shooting the other guard or... Nadia. Eduardo would feel guilty if Nadia died because of him. He never cared about the guards since all they did was bully him.
He looked around and saw the people in the airport crying in fear, all because of the devil in front of him.
"Fine, I'll come with you" he said.
Marcello took a long draw from the cigarette and threw it away. He then got close to Eduardo and puffed the smoke into his mouth. Eduardo held back his cough since Marcello twirled his tongue around his.
He shot his eyes, embarrassed that Nadia and the other one would be looking. Marcello didn't care. There were kids around and other people, he didn't mind going far.
"Eduardo..." Nadia called his name. He broke the kiss and turned his face away from Nadia.
"I'm sorry, you should go to Russia without me" he spoke.
Marcello shoved Eduardo to his men.
"Take him to the car. If he runs away again, I'll blow out your skull" he warned them and they left.
Marcello finally squatted in front of Nadia and grabbed her hair. He roughly yanked it to the side as a groan escaped Nadia's lips. He placed the gun on the side of her head.
"Didn't I warn you to stay away from him?"
"I.. I am sorry" she stuttered. Tears already dripping from her eyes.
"I would let you go since I got him back. Never step foot in Italy again or I won't give you a second chance" he waved and turned to leave the airport. Everyone started to murmur.
Nadia burst into tears as the guard with her pulled her away. The other one was already dead so there was no need to take him back. He was glad he wasn't the one who ended up dead.
And like that, Marcello's fifth fiancee ran away.
