"What are they trying to do?" I gasped as it all seemed unreal to me.
As I stared at them, I couldn't help but doubt my vision. I sat there on the ground peering at them with my mouth agape.
The lash of Nana's whip that just landed on my neck was still burning my skin, and I was feeling the wetness of my blood cascading down slowly.
The pain was so unbearable, but I couldn't cry yet as I was trying to recognize what was going on. Maybe I was having hallucinations.
"Start saying your last prayers because you won't come out alive!"
Five girls were standing in front of me holding a skin-made whip like Nana's own, but the difference was that I could feel the heat of wolfsbane around it.
There were two guys also with them, holding the trashcan of the school with a naughty smile on their faces, but the girls seemed very angry at me, as if I had offended them before.
"What did I do to you all?! Leave me alone, please!" I bawled, crawling back in fear as sweat covered my face while my heart hit harder inside my chest.
"You don't know what you did, huh?" Nana's voice came in as she walked in between the girls from behind. Her eyes were filled with hatred as they scanned my face.
"I don't know what I did to deserve all this. The Luna is my mother, and you all have no right to punish me even if I killed her. I am the real alpha's daughter. You know that, huh?" I yelled and stood up to my feet, but I was swept off my feet again by the same bully who was in the back seat.
It came unexpectedly and really got me, landing heavily on my butt so that I felt a sharp crack around my waist.
A screech of torment slipped my lips as I cried out from the throbbing pain spreading through my butt. I found it hard to sit well due to the pain.
"Oh, I thought you said you're the Alpha's daughter? I just kicked you down. Stand up and fight me with your Alpha bloodline wolf." The guy jeered and everyone laughed harder.
My heart seemed like it was being torn apart as their mockery and insults began to taunt me in a different way. I was slapped, knocked on the head, and kicked by different people.
All I did was shut my eyes and try to protect my face while receiving a beating from everyone. Silently, I prayed and hoped I wasn't hit with that wolfsbane whip.
Monster!!...We heard you even tried to poison Nana. Now we all know why the moon goddess cursed you and made you wolfless," one of the girls howled at me, and it caused an uproar in the class.
I managed to look up, trying to gather courage to tell them it wasn't true, even though I knew no one would believe me, but the next thing that happened got me traumatized. They poured the entire dirt in the trashcan on my head.
The stinking smell reeked profusely around me, hitting my nostrils so much that I almost bloated and committed. The pungent smell was so sharp and strong that I found it hard to breath. All over my body was smeared with both oil and rotten food.
I began to cry, feeling so broken and shattered to the core as I covered my nose with my palm.
The laughter from the students was like demons in the thick darkness haunting me.
"Get up there and clean this whole mess!." The order from Nana shot in and I really tried to sit back. I forced myself never to do that, but the slave mark won't allow me. Her orders were like a triggering force, which was beyond my power to resist.
As I stood up, the irritating sewage was dripping from my head to toe, making my belly grumble as I gulped for fresh air.
Some parts of my body were slippery and some dirt particles stuck all over my hair and skin, so I was no different from a roaming mad woman. All the students left the class as it was a break period, leaving me there to sweep and clean the whole place.
I kept crying in anguish, tears making my vision blurry while I bent over to sweep and repack the dirt into the trashcan. My eyes glanced around the classroom, and I sighted some students taking shots at me with their cameras.
My legs began to throb as I felt spasms, but I couldn't stop till I was done cleaning the damn class. I tossed the broom to the corner of the classroom before carrying the trashcan, heading to the exit.
Those girls who were holding the wolfsbane whip hurried into the class at that moment, with Nana following behind, and fear made me back away.
"Second round..." Nana smirked before covering her nose while I stared dumbly, wondering what she meant.
The other girls snickered, and I could see the wolfsbane whip around their waists.
"Hey, take that trashcan outside and follow us to where we are about to take you." One of the girls with midnight dark curly hair spoke out, her voice laced with pure cruelty.
I almost asked who they were, but fear was so much in me, so I kept mute and carried the can while they walked out with me following from behind.
"I hope you survive the twenty lashes from their powerful whip since you claim to be ahead of death!" Nana chuckled dangerously at me just as I began to trail behind them weakly.
The school bell rang at that moment for break over, but it didn't stop them from taking me to wherever they were going to.
Nana's POV
Five princesses from various packs enrolled in school today solely to get rid of Ava, and I am only assisting.
As you all know, I have to kill Ava in three days, but the most important thing of them all is that I will also be rewarded with a charm to make Jaden mine.
These girls heard rumours that Ava was able to capture the prince's attention and were so envious just like I was. They all came with their powerful whips, which were enough to hurt deep into the bone marrow with one hit.
It hurts much more than mine, and I know Ava won't be able to hold on for so long. She will definitely kill herself to end it all. These girls thought I was only helping them because I hated Ava, not knowing they were the ones increasing my chance of winning the prince.
Once Ava is off the road, Aurora would make Jaden mine and also give me the antidote to the poison in me. No one can touch me when Jaden makes me his mate.
"You can actually kill yourself here and now to save yourself from experiencing the torture ahead." I overheard one of the girls speaking to Ava, and just like always, Ava gave her no response as she kept following us.
Finally, we got to the school garden, where there were no students since the break was over. It was large enough to circle around Ava and beat her to death.
I never planned to become this evil. I wasn't heartless like this, but there is no way I will survive if Ava doesn't die.
"Is this where you all are taking me to? What are we doing here?" Ava asked me in a weak tone, her eyes dull and teary. She was staggering a bit while her hands trembled. It was clear she was facing immeasurable pain within herself.
"We are princesses from other neighboring packs and heard that the prince fell on love with you, how could he like a monster and reject us all?" One of the girls vented, while the others growled in spite, slipping out their whips.
"That question should be directed to Prince Jaden, who fell for me, because I have no idea what you're talking about. I thought Nana told everyone I used charm on him." Ava replied, barely above a whisper as she stared at them, tears pouring down her cheeks.
"The rumour was directly from the Lycan kingdom. The prince must have made it clear that he had feelings for you, and we also know that Jaden is too powerful to be trapped by any love charm. Nana has also confirmed to us that she made that witch lie." This response from one of the girls drew Ava's gaze to me.
"Really?...how stupid is my father that he believes all lies. Even mere princesses knew Jaden couldn't be trapped by love charms, but he didn't even hesitate to believe the witch. Foolish man." Ava cursed. For the first time, I saw pure resentment in her eyes.
"We are not here for long talks. As you refuse to kill yourself, we will force you to do it." That was the last statement before one of them lashed her whip at her. I saw how Ava tried to dodge it, but she was too weak from the previous torture.
The whip struck her in the arm, burning her skin with blood spilling out. She burst into a loud scream of pain that really chilled me. The swooshing sound of the whip showed how painful it must have been on her skin.
Ava fell to the ground and began to roll around, convulsing in the most torturous pain that I had to look away. My eyes slightly caught the burning streak of her skin from the hit, and it was really bloody.
Just then, a student who was also one of the princesses' maids in disguise ran into the garden, making us all turn to her.
"Prince Jaden is in the school now!" she announced, and I gasped in shock. Without waiting a second, I rushed out of the garden, the girls following behind after dropping off their whip there with Ava, who couldn't stand it anymore as she kept whimpering uncontrollably.
The most important thing for us all was to meet Prince Jaden. At least he won't get to see Ava.
