The Legendary Programming Mage Chapter 71

This is right, right? Yes, that was the exact word that described what I was looking at. I was trying to create a bucket but it turned out as a grotesque sculpture of a bowl. "Here I thought coding was the peak of human knowledge." How did craftsmen even do this? I exhaled a frustrated breath. "Humph, bucket is bucket as long as it can hold water." Besides, I had made over twenty of them. I smirked. "Now onto the fun part." Encrypting the buckets with codes. It was my first time doing something and honestly it was thrilling. I channeled mana through my skin, letting the mana crackle at my fingertips. Gradually, I let my finger hover over one of the wooden buckets before inscribing on it. One after another I began writing the runic variant of codes into it. There was no reaction, since I needed to apply mana directly to it so it could activate. Within a few minutes I was done writing. It was the same codes that were in my distortion spell but I altered it a bit so it would only include blink. "Now for the moment of truth." Using Flashstep I flickered in front of the lake, filled the bucket with water, then placed it on the floor. Closing my eyes, I let my fingers trail around the wood of the grotesque sculpture before sending mana through it. The runes all glowed bright red then the bucket vanished only for it to appear in the sky, and fall to its doom. The sound of shattering wood rang in my head over and over again, and honestly it didn’t feel good. I was Allen Vanderbilt Park, how can I— I shook my head. "Again." Perseverance was what taught me Flashstep so doing it again wasn’t that bad. And the more I did it, the more I became obsessed with doing it. Googlᴇ search NoveI-Fire.ɴet There was no way I was going home with nothing. The speed of my encryption was faster now, and in mere seconds, I could— I scribbled the spell again on the new cleaner bucket. Throughout my entire trial, I had written countless combinations of runes, but I had faith in this one. I turned away from the bucket and encoded another magic rune onto the clearing’s ground before turning back. With it, I could assign the bucket a fixed reference — a route it could always trace back to, even if it blinked away. I carried the bucket and moved towards the lake. Once I filled it up, I activated blink on it, and it vanished... For a moment my breath caught in my throat. My eyes brightened as I pumped my fist. "Yes!" The bucket was in the ground of the clearing. I immediately ran back to fetch it, and once I did I encoded a few more runes onto it. Now if I placed it inside the water it would blink back, not into a clearing but into any holes or thing it was pouring into. Once it had been teleported there and it deemed the barrier not full, "if" it didn’t float out of it, then it would teleport back into the lake and continue this till the barrier or hole was full. "Now for the hole..." I chuckled at the thought I was having. 『 User has activated Tier 9 spell: Red Chains 』 With my recent control of red chains I could do many things. I used the chains to form a large fist and slammed it into the ground. Dust and debris flew around me, as a large hole formed. Forming the fist into a shovel I flicked my finger and it began digging. Within a few minutes, a clearing was made, and I wrote a new set of runes on it. The moment I channeled mana into the bucket the loop began. The bucket continued flickering between the hole and the lake filling it with water. I fell on my rear. "That was awesome." 『 User’s mastery of Red Chains has increased 』 『 User’s mastery of Distortion has increased 』 『 User’s mana mastery has increased 』 I let out a small smile. "Worth every damn second." The sound of bushes rustling rang in my ear as the figure of Quincy riding her wolf spirit came into sight. She was carrying finely chopped logs, and behind her was a massive rock bear. "Yo Hello." She waved at me enthusiastically. I waved back, still sore from all the running about. Ah, yes, the distance between the clearing and the lake was a lot more than I initially thought. Standing to my feet and brushing myself off, I moved over to her and helped her down from the wolf. The monsters immediately started moving with the wood. Quincy smiled at me. "Wait and see the magic." I turned back to the spirits and immediately a bright light shot to the sky. A large white spirit whose face I couldn’t see appeared from the sky, and with a snap of its finger the wood began joining together forming a large cabin. Those were the only words I could mutter as it vanished. Even my hole’s floor was now covered with wood to prevent the dirt from mixing with the water. I had honestly forgotten about that really. And the spirit even made a cover around it. I turned over to Quincy. "Who or what was that?" She placed a finger at the edge of her curved lips. "A trade secret." I glanced back at the spot the white spirit was. ’Whatever that was was strong.’ However now, I had something else to worry about. And it was even more beautiful than I thought it would be. Quincy nudged me with her shoulder. "How is it?" It might look small to most. Hell, if I wasn’t the builder I might have taken it as insignificant. "It’s pretty, really pretty." A house, not bought, but made with my handwork, even though most of it was still a spirit, but still... ’I guess I’m the legendary programming civil engineering mage now.’ Hey guys, another author’s note. So, just like before, I wanted to ask—how are the Chapters so far? Do you feel the pacing is too slow or too fast? Are the characters being developed well enough? How do you see Allen as the MC? Also, are there any mistakes you’ve noticed so far? Is the story still enjoyable, or did any part feel boring or drag on for you? Your feedback really helps me out, so let me know what you think!
