As he stepped out of the room, I couldn't help but think of Nana and Terai's words.
Maybe they were right..
Was it fate that made me see him the first time?
Was it the work of fate that I wasn't killed?
Was it the work of fate that I was assigned to work here.

If it is fate, then there has to be a reason.

I kept hearing the voices as I walked out, I shook my head yet it didn't stop and immediately I stepped out of the room, It was like something hit me in full force!
And then snap! I wasn't in control of my body.
"Your highness" a maid greeted. My hands grabbed her by the neck.
I gripped it tightly, choking her.
Her hands held my hand, pulling, kicking frantically.
I heard voices.
✴Don't move near him!
✴somebody get the queen!
✴The queen is here!
✴Jamal!
My hands didn't stop choking, squeezing.
Until she came..
"Prince Jamal" came her soft soothing voice.
I released the maid and she fell limp to the ground.
I turned and she was standing there, her hair swaying with the wind.
"Sarafina"
My knees bucked beneath me, I slipped to the ground. Someone held me, rocking me.
My eyes were fixed on her.
She didn't move, she just stood there staring at me.
My mind was calling to her, but I couldn't speak. I saw her leaving before I eventually allowed the darkness envelope me.

One time he is talking to me like he isn't the cold prince we all know and then suddenly he is living up to his title by almost choking a maid to death.
And then he is looking straight at me and falling into unconsciousness.
Fear gripped me when his eyes met mine after I called his name, why is it when he left the hall where I was that a thing like that happened to him?

The palace was in chaos after the incidence, words had gotten into the streets of Zedora.
'Did you hear what I heard?'
I heard voices from outside, I slowly walked to the window sides and peeped to see four maids sitting at the pool side.
'What did you hear?'
'Do you know that new maid?'
My breath hitched.
'The one serving punishment?'
'Yes that one.'
'What happened to her?'
'I heard she is the course of the prince predicament.'
'Holy goddess!'
'I already knew she wasn't innocent, she charmed the king not to kill now she has cursed our prince!'
'In fact it was immediately the prince left her workplace that he started acting up.'
'She has to be killed, see what havoc she has brought to the palace grounds now.'
I slipped down, tears slipping from my eyes.
I'm innocent, Ashra knows I have nothing to do with the Prince's act.
I sighed, I hope he gets well and I hope I never see him again till I finish my punishment.

"Ah.... Ah... " She kept moaning as he pounded into her, his hands pulling her hair roughly.
"Max... " her shrill voice filled the room as she came in a tight shuddering orgasm.
Yet he kept pounding, and then he stiffened, grabbing her waist, as he shot his loads into her and then he collapsed on the bed beside her.

She smiled, biting her lips. "I'm yours Maximus"

"Yes, part of the plan... I know that but its been sixteen years now, when will you execute your plan?"
Maximus smirked. "We've gotten enough information from your ambassador husband"
"Without him knowing of course" he added.
"So?"

Kayla breathed in a sigh. Oh she couldn't wait, she couldn't wait to be the queen of Zedora.

Queen Mila's hand shook as she stared at Jamal's unconscious body laying on the bed.
•What could be wrong with him. She thought.
•What is the curse?
"My Queen, Abu the diviner is here"
"I will be out in a minute" she replied the maid.
She had sent for Abu immediately she heard what had happened.
The King wasn't around at the moment, he had gone for an important meeting with the royal house of the province if Pecan.
Slipping her legs into her flops, she kissed her son's forehead and went to meet Abu in the guest chamber.

Mila started to talk as she sat down but Abu held his hands up.
"Ashra knows it all" he muttered.
"What do we do now? This has never happened before."
Abu smiled. "She is here" he whispered.
Mila who didn't hear him very well narrowed her eyes. "You said what?"
"She is here, right in this palace"
"Who? Who is here?"
Abu stood and packed his bags. "It is for me to say, My Queen, it is for you to find out"
"She is here" he said again, and left, leaving Mila in a dazed position.
