If mother wasn't unconscious on my hand, I would have started a celebratory dance right away, I didn't want to get married to her anyway and she had just saved me the pressure of having to rack my brain for a suitable excuse to give for breaking off the engagement, only that why doesn't this feel right?
"Hey take care of my mother, I would be back in a minute" I said to the maids and lay Ammi quietly on her bed, I grabbed Ditya's hands and pulled her outside, once we were safely out of earshot I released her hands and turned to her.
"What was that?" I ask, she stepped back and looked around, it was then I noticed tears in her eyes.
"Are you okay?" I asked, she shook her head and moved closer to me she looked around again and slipped a folded paper into my hands.
"Please, don't open it until you are alone, it is nothing harmful just don't open it until you are alone" she whispered and hurried away. I looked down at my folded fingers and sighed. It better not be something harmful.
As soon as I got to the privacy of my room, I pulled out the paper and opened it, it was a letter.
Ditya wrote me a letter..

"Are you really going to be like this?" Pooja asked as we lay down to sleep.
Marielle had given us some blankets to manage after we had finished talking which actually ended with me storming outside and staying until it was past evening. We had lay the blankets on the floor making a mock bed and we set up a fireplace a bit farther from our feet because Marielle said it was always cold at night.
"Be like what?" I said feigning ignirance. She rolled so that she was facing me.
"You know what I'm talking about... You love him and it is very obvious in your eyes, why will you punish yourself because of his mother's wrong... You were made the Sheba to right things not to fuel it up by taking revenge, if you eventually kill the people responsible for your mother's death then you will just be like them.... Or have you forgotten who a Sheba is? A maiden with a pure heart... Someone who thinks of other people before herself, someone who isn't selfish... That's what you are Sarafina and you should not let anything change that" she held my hand as I sniffed.
"I thought revenge was the only way to get back at Mila because I thought she killed Chadran but now I keep having second thoughts... There is something called Karma and there is something called Kismata... Sarafina you can't play the games for this two you can only set the part straight and wait for the villains to get hit at their rightful time"
I sniffed and sat up. "You think ui should forgive them all for taking away my family? For using me? You think I should forgive her for killing my Ammi? Is that what you are asking me to do?"
Pooja sat up too, rubbing circles on my palm she stared right at me. "What was her last words, tell me her last words"
I sighed and closed my eyes, remembering just how she said it. "Do not let hate blind you! You alone can restore our mistakes and you alone can destroy everyone including yourself"
I opened my eyes to find Pooja staring at me. "That's what she said" I stated.
"If you really love her, then you will listen to her especially as this was her last advice for you"
Tears fell from my eyes and Pooja pulled me to herself in a hug, patting my back soothingly. "I got you Sarafina, I got you" she muttered.
In my heart I stated the obvious.
I forgive you Queen Milanie, I forgive you Prince Jafar, I forgive you Prince Maximus, I forgive you Kayla and...

JAMAL.
My hands kept shaking as I held the letter, Maximus was behind it all though she also said she was sorry and she really wanted me to have Sarafina but yet I didn't miss the fact that Maximus had coerced her into marrying Jafar because he wanted to overtake the thrown and having Pecan on his side was the best form ally.
She said it was her fault, she had gone to meet Maximus because she was desperate for me, she thought Maximus was helping her little did she know she was making a deal with shaitan (devil).
Now she wanted my help or rather Sarafina's help as she stated in the letter.
Maximus.. That slime bastard, he wants to take my father's throne, I stood up and started to walk out but suddenly something like a wave hit me and then I was falling back..
I felt like the whole room was spinning and then flashes, flashes of light.
I started seeing things. I saw her.. I was holding her hands by the waterfall, my hands were on her waist her legs almost slipping down, the wind blowing her hair sideways and her hazel eyes staring wide at me.
I closed my eyes and drifted, allowing myself to get drowned in my memories

"My prince" the voice sounded distant until I heard it again. "My Prince" it was a bit clearer and nearer now, I flickered my eyes open and blinked at the light before my eyes adjusted to it. I sat up, Khan was at my bed.
"Khan" I called.
"My Prince, you are awake.. What happened, I heard a loud thud and I rushed in to see you sprawled on the floor.. Are you okay?"
I stated at him and back at myself... I am cursed but I am different.. I have been cursed since I was an infant and my cure is a Sheba but I am different now because she is my cure and she has healed me. Sarafina.
"I think I have my memories back, Khan"
