Heather's POV:
I went straight to Ace's office. I knocked and entered.
"Hey baby boy, guess who asked me for help," I said, walking up to his table. He was looking at his laptop screen. He then smiled at me.
"I know. Just watched your whole conversation. And Sawyer's," he chuckled.
"What happened??"
"Come and see for yourself. I recorded it."
I went to stand by him and watched the video. Sawyer had always been selfish. She had always been an ungrateful person.
"This doesn't surprise me."
"Yeah," Sheridan chuckled.
"But how do we do now? She'll give Christina the money."
"Don't worry about that love, I already have something in mind."
"Hm, okay."
"Now tell me about Rob."
"Oh right."
I explained everything to him. While I spoke, he stood up and went to sit on his couch.
Ace's POV:
Good thing rob himself had asked Heather to convince her mother to leave. Things were going as per my plan.
"This is great. Everything's going on well," I said happily.
"Yeah. And for that investor," she started, sitting on my table. I watched her from the couch, heat beginning to build in me again. She was irresistible.
"I planned on secretly sending him a copy of the company's declining sales. He doesn't know about the loss of profit going on. Once he'll see the copy, he'll withdraw for sure."
That was a good idea.
"Yeah. You're right. Completely!"
She reddened and playfully tossed her hair aside.
"You look good," I said.
"Thanks."
I smirked at her and she blushed.
"Come here," I told her, patting my lap. She raised a brow.
"Hm, and why? You wanna punish me or what?"
"No, baby. You've been a good girl lately. Come get your reward."
I wriggled my brows playfully and she smiled.
"I wasn't able to give it to you earlier. But I can now. It's a whole big package."
Her mouth dropped open and I laughed.
"What??"
"Don't waste time. Come here. Now."
"Your wish is my command. But first," she walked up to the door and locked it. Then she walked back to me.
Heather's POV:
I stood right in front of him, in between his legs. As ready as ever. No one would interrupt us now. And even if they did, we would not open.
