Rex and the others ride Delta as they follow the road path that circles the mountain,
The place hasn't stopped raining heavily from the moment they enter this place, and even until they were about to leave the place.
Night and day are hardly different in this place.
The road path down the mountain is slippery, but Delta has the ability to use the white force to stab the ground with every step she takes making it impossible for her to slip.
After following the road path for almost half an hour, they meet a dead end.
"A Dead end? The map didn't show anything about a dead end", Rex said with a frown, he's looking at the map and it clearly didn't state any dead end.
Looking at this, Adhara then looks around, "The mayor said something about this"
"She said that there's a hidden path around here, and it's marked by three red lines", Adhara added before her eyes landed on a big boulder beside them.
Adhara get off Delta and approach the boulder,
The bolder is easily two or three times Delta's body, and it looks unmovable.
Rex and Kyran look at Adhara who is probing the boulder with her hands, and it didn't take long before the ground rumbles as Adhara found the three red lines on the boulder.
In front of their eyes, the boulder moved slightly exposing a tiny gap.
Rex and Kyran get down from Delta too after the boulder moved,
Adhara looks at the gap before she frowns, "I think Delta can't fit through this gap", she said.
Hearing this, Delta growls lightly towards Rex.
Rex looks at Delta trying to communicate with him before he suddenly said, "Are you sure? We are still very high on the mountain"
But Delta then nodded her head assuringly as if she understand Rex.
With a sigh, Rex then finally rubs Delta's head before he walks inside the tiny gap.
Looking at this, Adhara and Kyran look at each other in confusion, "Are we going to leave Delta here? Shouldn't we find another way?"
"Don't worry, she will be fine", Rex replied nonchalantly.
When Adhara was about to rebut,
A cracking sound suddenly can be heard from their backs, and when Adhara glances to the back she saw Delta jumping off the mountain making her eyes widen.
Both Adhara and Kyran runs to the cliff and looks down,
They saw Delta falling before she gripped the mountain wall as she slowly climbs down, it shocks Kyran and Adhara because of how firm her claws grip is and how fast she is.
"Come on! Delta will reach down first if we don't hurry", Rex shouted from inside the gap.
After confirming that Delta will be okay, Adhara and Kyran runs into the gap before the ground rumbles again as the boulder moves and closed the gap.
Inside the gap is a dark cave,
Rex and the others are not worried because they can see in the dark, and they also didn't sense any mutated animals in here so they're walking calmly.
Because this cave is used to go down, the cave is equipped with a glowing guide.
On the cave walls are arrows made of some sort of liquid that glows in the dark, and it guides them to where they should head to.
While walking, Kyran then said, "I remember you said you can understand Delta"
"You mean my Predator Instinct? Yes, I can understand her", Rex replied with a slight chuckle, he only said that to tease Kyran.
In fact, Rex didn't really know how he can understand Delta.
He always sort of hear a subtle voice that somehow translates Delta, and it's obviously working.
Adhara who is hearing this from the side said with a chuckle, "Predator Instinct? Is that how I also can somehow understand Delta?"
Hearing this, Kyran's expression turns weld, "You have it too Adhara?"
Looking at Kyran's cute expression, Adhara laughs sweetly before Rex added, "I told you, you'll have a Predator Instinct too someday"
"That's not fair! I'm also a Werewolf!", Kyran rebutted with a sigh as the others laughs.
The way down through the cave is somewhat challenging,
At the start of entering the cave, Rex and the others only need to walk a straight line but are slightly leaning downwards.
But the more they get deeper, the harder the road becomes.
They even found a literal cliff that they need to go down by hanging onto the little fringes on the cliff wall, but thankfully Rex can use his claws but it's different for Adhara and Kyran.
Both of them struggle to go down as Rex needs to constantly catch them falling.
But nevertheless, with only about another half an hour they manage to reach the end of the cave which is on the foot of the mountain.
This surprised Rex quite a bit, "It's really fast, I can't believe we climb down that high"
While Rex is saying that, he looks at the tall mountain behind him as he didn't feel that he climb down that high.
Adhara and Kyran on the other hand have scratches on their fingers.
The climb down proves to be hard for them, and their fingers suffer from it.
'Now that I think about it, it's been quite a long time since Adhara evolve. I wonder how long would she evolve into High Werewolf', Rex thought.
Upon reaching High Werewolf, Adhara or Kyran should be able to grow their claws just like him.
Reading this, Rex was quite surprised.
'I can buy the system's feature in the shop?', Rex thought in surprise.
He instantly open the shop before searching for features, but he didn't find any features that he can buy through the shop.
'It seems the system can only recommend it', Rex thought in defeat.
After buying the Pack Member Inspection Feature,
A notification about Adhara and Kyran's description of their evolving process can be seen beside them, this shows how much further they are from their evolution.
'41% and 30%?', Rex thought as he look at their evolution process.
Adhara is currently in 41% while Kyran is 30%, this makes Rex frown because Adhara turned into a Werewolf longer than Kyran did.
But after thinking for a moment, 'It's probably because of the Yule Moon accident'
'There's also their Sanity and Berserk stats', Rex thought as he look at the description below the evolution bar.
The Sanity and Berserk stats should work the same way as his.
Rex frowns when he something weird on Kyran's Berserk stats, there is a plus 30% Berserk stat besides the actual berserk stat.
This makes Rex confused because he can't figure out where that plus 30% comes from.
But Rex puts his thoughts aside as they need to start moving.
After inspecting both of their evolution processes, Rex closed their description before he looks around and sensing Delta is not far from them.
"Are you guys done? We'll start moving", Rex said while looking at Adhara and Kyran.
Both of them are tired from the climb down, but the scratches on their fingers are already healed but the fatigue is still there.
Adhara stands up with heavy breaths, "Let's go", followed by Kyran standing up.
Edward and Ari already left the misty area as they dash through a desolate plain, the ground is cracked and ruined but there is a city at the end of their vision.
It's currently night, and both Edward and Ari have been dashing non-stop since they leave Lountain City.
They are heading to that city to find transport back to Ratmawati City.
Silence covered both of them because of their exchanges before, and Edward already knows that something is up with Ari.
Or who Ari represents, the Reed Family.
Edward suddenly stopped as they near the city,
Looking at Edward stopping, Ari also stops on his track while looking at Edward in confusion.
"You might as well be open to me right now", Edward suddenly said.
Hearing this, Ari frowns as he didn't expect Edward to confront him head-on especially since they are alone with no Rex around.
Edward slowly turns around before he added, "Did you let the maid through?"
Ari's expression didn't change even a bit,
He only stares at Edward with a stoic expression as if he's not bothered as they both lock eye contact for quite a while.
"I'm not inclined to answer that question", Ari replied calmly.
But Edward smirk as he says, "Doesn't that already answer my question?"
"Then, Why did the protector from the Reed Family feel a need to let that maid through?", Edward asks again without minding Ari's stoic expression.
Ari didn't answer this time, his mouth was closed shut without a sign of opening.
Looking at this, Edward then added after thinking about the whole situation, "Even though I know that you let the maid through, you didn't try to silence me"
"Are you not afraid of Rex knowing this?", Edward asks while squinting his eyes.
No matter how strong the Reed Family currently is, they must've recognized Rex's strength, and getting into his bad side would just be a hassle for them.
It may even spell their doom if they're not careful with the backing of Vargas.
But even so, Ari still looks stoic as if he and the Reed Family are clearly not afraid of letting Rex know that they breached the contract.
Rex can simply report the illegal Great Spells to Vargas and it will spell their doom.
Edward frowns as he looks at Ari, "Just what are they thinking", he mumbles in confusion.
Rex and the others arrived at Slila City after Delta gallop for a few hours.
With the strength that Delta has, it was not a big deal for her to keep running for hours or even days without resting.
'System, Can I help Delta reach a higher rank?', Rex asks while he looks at Delta.
Hearing this, Rex pats Delta with a smile as he will help Delta break through.
Delta strides slowly as they enter the city,
All eyes landed on them as they enters the city, as usual, a Zeragon just attracts attention no matter where they go.
Slila City is quite different compared to the other cities Rex visited.
Because this is a level two city which means nearer to Ratmawati City, the city is developed with thousands of people crowding the entrance.
The City's defense is also plausible as the wall is tall and sturdy.
By just walking into the city for a moment, Rex can already feel other Awakened living in this place that shows just how developed this city is.
These Awakened nodded to Rex and the others as a sign of respect.
After looking around the city, Rex asked the people around regarding the transport while Adhara and Kyran rest in a cafe.
It seems they're a little too tired for a journey.
Rex came back after twenty minutes or so after getting the answer he wants.
From the people of the city, Rex found that the UWO branch here has just finished constructing teleportation formation in counter for the Supernatural strongholds.
It will be faster for them to use this instead of a transport train.
Because of how sudden the Supernatural attack was, the UWO decided to build this formation.
This will allow the substantial cities to get back up faster through the formation, and this will then continue to strengthen humanity's defense.
The reason they didn't make this sooner was because of the number of resources needed.
With the Supernatural just around the corner, the UWO was forced to collect more ransoms from the cities with an Elemental Stones mine to make this project happen.
"We can use the formation, but I don't think it's open for the public", Rex said.
Hearing this, Adhara frowns before she replied, "You're quite famous, I'm sure they will let you use the formation"
"It requires huge resources per person, I don't think it will be that easy", Rex added.
While both of them discuss the matters, Kyran went out when he saw many people start taking photos of Delta.
Delta can be seen bothered, so Kyran is worried.
Rex and Adhara saw this but they left the matter to Kyran.
"Let's just visit the formation first and ask how much resources are needed to travel to Wedron City, With the gifts from Lountain City, there may be a chance that we can afford it", Rex said.
After deciding that, both Adhara and Rex stand up and leave the cafe.
