Ikem, a little pissed at being mocked at the time, asked the two Treants "So what is it that you both claim is your job?"
"Seeing how far you have come so that we can proceed our journey in a peaceful manner," Brix said.
"From what you have told us, time will sooner or later get rough. We can feel you have grown in strength but do you know how to make use of it. It has been years since you last got into a life threatening situation" Aqua said right after.
Ikem remembered being hesitant at both their words, "It has indeed been a long time since i went all out, my meeting with red was close but we didn’t fight" Thinking of that Ikem nodded before gesturing to the two treants to follow him.
It didn’t take much time before they got to a huge colosseum, Brix and Aqua was taken back by the building before Ikem explained to them "This was a building built to serves as the competition ground of our school students and cursed clans"
Brix and Aqua nodded as they both followed Ikem inside, His children who were back in the kingdom were right behind them as this will be the first time they will see their father in a serious fight.
They all found them a place to sit while Ikem and the two treants stood at the center of the colosseum, Ikem spoke up "So how do we do this, are you both coming at me?"
Brix raised an eyebrow at that before chuckling "That will be unfair for you Ikem, we just want to make you get used to your growing strength not kill you" Saying that Brix jumped up to the stand where Ikem’s children were watching.
Aqua took some step back to create distance between him and Ikem as he spoke out "Don’t take his word to mind but he is right, we both working together will be good for you and also it pains me to admit it but he is more adept at fighting than me"
IIkem looked at Aqua and said "We will see about that" Saying that Ikem began stretching causing cracking and popping sound from inside his body.
Getting the mana inside of him to shun and move rapidly around his body, Ikem made the "Come on" gesture to Aqua.
Aqua said nothing but narrowed his eyes, as he kicked off causing the ground to sink in a bit as he appeared in front of him with his arm cockeed back for a punch, Ikem smiled seeing that as he crossed his arm to block when all of a sudden he noticed that he wasn’t getting a good traction from the ground as he found himself lying back to the wall of the colosseum.
Red wooden tendrils sprouted out from his back, attaching themselves to the walls, preventing him from hitting them. Once he got himself back from the shock , he looked back to where he was and saw Ice spreading across where he was standing.
"That was a warning Ikem, and just like usual Bara keeps saving you" Aqua said as he looked at Ikem and the red wooden tendrils.
The red tendrils retracted back letting Ikem down, who had a frown on his face as he thought back to his previous behavior "When did I get this confidence?"
Thinking that he kicked off his heel rushing at Aqua with the same speed, he got close to aqua as roots sprouted from the ground to hold Aqua figure to the ground, but aqua didn’t panic as a circular water wall apparead in front of him which Ikem proceeded to punch yet nothing happened as the the water ripples like waves diffusing the force from the punch.
Ikem wasn’t done or surprised as the arm he used for punching turned to an open palm where red flames bloomed out from burning away the water protecting Aqua.
Aqua wasn’t still as Ice sword formed in his hand which he used to cut off the roots holding him and using one of his free legs he kicked at Ikem waist who grew out a green construct catching the foot.
Ikem catching the foot used his other arm to send a wave of fire towards Aqua but he found water bubbles floating aroundKikem which soon exploded dousing the five a causing a wave of steam to cover their view.
The water explosion pushed both back as they regained their distance, before quickly rushing back at each. Red fire balls grew around Ikem as he rushed to meet Aqua who had ice shards floating around him, once they got close. One ice shard and fireball collided causing an explosion using the moment they both threw punches and kicks at each other drawing blood.
The whole arena was turning into a mess the more they fought, to the level where Ikem was fully cladded in wooden armor as he held onto a sword and shield construct. Aqua expression changed seeing Ikem in this form so he responded by creating an Ice disk which grew under his feet quickly taking him up to the sky.
From their exchange just now, Aqua noticed that Ikem was above him when it comes to physical strength and he himself has a better defense. but now he plans on fighting from a distance.
Ikem meanwhile was thinking to himself "He really is hard, Punching won’t do me any good, i need something sharp to cut him and he heals really fast".
The arena runed silent as the Armored up Ikem looked up to the sky where Aqua was now floating with the help of his Ice disk, Pushing his speed even more Ikem appeared in front of Aqua when an ice wall appeared in front of him blocking his view but was quickly torn apart with his sword.
"Damn it, I’m falling" Ikem thought to himself as he had no leverage to stand on after cutting the ice but he then heard Bara voice in his mind "I got you"
Red tendrils grew out from Ikem body, detaching from him as they floated around before moving under him to form a flat red platform which Ikem stood on.
Aqua raised an eyebrow seeing that so he spoke up "Well done Ikem"
Without hesitation, Aqua conjured a swirling vortex of water around him, forming into razor-sharp icicles that shot towards Ikem with incredible speed. But Ikem was ready. With a swift motion, he swung his sword, deflecting the majority of the icicles, though some managed to nick him, drawing thin lines of green scratch across his armor.
As Aqua continued his assault, Ikem retaliated with bursts of flames, sending fiery projectiles hurtling towards Aqua. The flames clashed against the icy barrage, creating clouds of steam that obscured their vision momentarily.
In the midst of the chaos, Aqua took advantage of the cover provided by the steam. He acted quickly as he summoned torrents of water from the air around them. Suddenly, the steam cleared, revealing a massive wave hurtling towards Ikem with unstoppable force.
Ikem gritted his teeth, realizing the danger he was in. With a focused expression, he mentally told Bara to drop the platform which he did as Ikem fell back down to the ground. Once he was on the ground, he planted his shield firmly into the ground, growing the shield size at the same time he braced himself. The water wave fell from the sky into the arena sending shockwaves rippling through the arena before being guided by Aqua as they crashed against his shield. For a moment Ikem held his own as with him at the center the water wave crashing against him divided in two sideways as they passed by him but the water was at the same time filling up from right behind him too.
Ikem quickly responded by dispersing his hand shield construct as a green shield circular construct formed around him holding off against the current
Aqua saw that smile so he had a twisting gesture from the sky as he redirected the flow of water, creating swirling currents that encircled Ikem from all sides.
Ikem’s eyes widened in realization as he found himself trapped within Aqua’s watery prison. From inside his green construct, he unleashed a barrage of red flames, hoping to melt his way through the encroaching water. But Aqua’s control was too precise, and the flames sputtered out against the relentless tide.
"He really is pushing me" Thinking of that, Ikem closed his eyes and he for the first time after breaking through to the fourth realm drew out all his power, it started with the wooden armor around him dispersing revealing his furred form as green construct armor replica formed around him instead and at the same time they have formed, red tendrils grew from his body as they wrapped around the green construct creating a second layer. Pulling back the green construct shield the water crashed into him drowning him.
Ikem children in the audience snapped out from the stupor they were in since the beginning of the fight as they saw their father drowned by the water.
