The Empress threw down the wine cup, and with a cold smile, opened the fortress gates.
In that instant, the summoned copies of the Eleven Magical Beasts, Luo En’s Dragon Tooth Soldier Corps, and the Divine Blood Warriors from Assyria, fell onto the battlefield like a deluge, charging fearlessly at the Babylonian deities.
This great flood was not just a calamity for Uruk, but an apocalypse for all of humanity.
Their homes in Nineveh and among various Assyrian city-states were destroyed as well.
However, they were relatively fortunate, as most had retreated to the Aerial Courtyard crafted collaboratively by the Empress, Father God Jing Gu, and Mother Goddess Tiamat, before calamity struck.
Yet, the apocalypse was still the apocalypse, and mortal lives remain too fragile before the wrath of the gods.
Many Assyrians lost their family, friends, and homes in this cataclysm.
And now, it is those who survived who raise their swords for the departed, striking at the gods who unleashed this calamity!
With a unanimous shout, the Divine Blood Warriors, riding the Eleven Magical Beasts, forcibly pierced through the gods’ lines.
The sword blades imbued with divine power fell, golden blood flowers blooming one after another.
So, even gods can bleed...
An unprecedented exhilaration flooded the hearts of the mortals, transforming into scornful laughter.
This laughter soon attracted new reinforcements.
"Activate the defensive charms of sections one to four!"
"Mages, chant the divine words; witches and priests, prepare the offensive ritual curse!"
"Turn left, adjust the firing range, open all gun ports!"
With shouts of command, two colossal warships made of cedar broke through the waves from the north and south directions.
Human survivors from Ur, Nippur, Kuza, Babylon City, and other city-states cranked winches with creaky effort.
Hundreds of magic-guided ship cannons were activated one by one, firing dense magic beams that tore apart the already battered gods’ lines further.
Through radiant beams and hazy water mist, the surviving gods glared into the ship’s cabin at the two "captains," their faces livid with rage.
One was a mortal pitied by the gods, surviving the last great flood and later enshrined as a deity; the other was a spirit favored by the gods, born from wine, and bestowed with the name God of Wine.
Both had received divine favor and should have stood with the gods.
Yet, without exception, they chose betrayal, joining the banner of rebellion alongside mortals.
"Just in time, let’s take these bastards down together!"
At this time, unrestrained laughter also rang out from Uruk City.
Hero King Gilgamesh and his friend Enkidu rose into the air, their hands repeatedly swinging the Rebellious Sword and Heavenly Lock to break through, wind pressure and chains slicing forward, lifting pieces of divine limbs and remnants.
The Heaven’s Wedge, once shepherding the gods’ people, and the Heavenly Lock, once granting favors to the gods, now stood defiantly against the gods.

At this moment, the king is the nation, and the people stand with the country!

The gods of Babylon were furious and immediately unleashed all of their divine power and authority to annihilate these humble lives that repeatedly committed acts of transgression.
As rulers of this God Era World, the gods enjoyed the richest resources and had thrived for millennia.
Whether they were the departed souls of the Netherworld, Divine Descendant Warriors, or the Magic Beast armies, they had all been defeated by the gods in the past.
If they could win once, they could win a second time, a third time!

Facing the gods’ full-on counterattack, the Alliance’s casualties surged, and they struggled to advance.

With varied-pitched praises echoing, space buzzed and trembled, as eerily shaped creations, each with six wings — two covering their faces, two covering their feet, and two for flying — were birthed from the shimmering magic circle diagrams and charged at the Babylonian gods’ lines, sweeping the resisting vanguards one by one.
"Saraf," creations of the Life Tree Kabala, a type of angel. Their duty is to ceaselessly praise the Lord and manifest His glory, guarding His hall.
Due to the callers’ voices, an illusory and tangible Holy Temple emerged among the light and shadows, with divine doors opening slowly, foundations trembling, the sky filled with luminous patterns and cloud mists.
Soon, more and more radiant life forms, each with varying numbers of wings, descended into Uruk’s skies, forming formations, fearlessly charging into the Babylonian gods.
For a time, thunderbolt claps exploded, the earth shook, and relentless screeches of metal clashing filled the air, with Babylonian gods blocking ahead being pierced by sharp swords, struck to cinders by thunderbolts, or crushed to pulp by mountain forces, one after another perishing.
