The Greece Antagonist Chapter 1278

Nippur City is the domain of Enlil, the Lord of Spirit and Air. They call him "Great Mountain," "Lord of Destiny," "Lord of Prosperity," and view him as the most powerful among the Babylonian Pantheon of Gods. From these small details, one can see that although Marduk has mastered the Origin Divine Authority, the Three Pillar Gods under his reign have not entirely yielded their loyalty. Besides this, the cities of Kuza, which worship the God of the Underworld Ereshkigal, Uruk, which worships the Moon Goddess Sin, and Kish and Susa, which worship the Sun God Utu, have also developed well. To enhance the prestige and status of their own City Guardian Gods, these city-states in the Two River Basin often engaged in conflicts, with the fervor not less than Greece’s Trojan War in its day. With fear, bloodshed, and sacrifices distinguishing you, us, and them, faith becomes more resolute. Thus, the Babylonian gods were pleased to see this happen. Through a long period of conflict, Uruk emerged as the current victor. Of course, this was due to the legendary Uruk Tyrant Gilgamesh, who was one-third human and two-thirds god, and his close friend Enkidu. One possessed the Divine King’s Bloodline as a powerful demigod, and the other was a divine weapon crafted by the gods. Together, they were unrivaled, leaving the lesser demigods of other city-states defeated in succession, acknowledging Uruk’s position as Alliance Hierarch. Luo En recorded everything he heard onto parchment, analyzing and organizing it in his mind to ensure he could convincingly portray a Sumerian upon reaching land, without easily revealing himself. At this moment, with a few jugs of secret wine consumed and energy dwindling, Tiamat’s gaze gradually became hazy. In her fatigue, she instinctively wanted to dive into that familiar and warm embrace for a nap. But she evidently forgot her identity as the Creator Goddess and the pair of large green horns on her head. A muffled boom echoed, causing the fluorite embedded in the cabin, serving as the light source, to shake violently. With a violent cough, Luo En felt several of his ribs might have been broken, a rusty taste rising in his mouth. "Mother Goddess, can you not charge over so hard next time? It’s fatal..." Assuming the role of "Jing Gu," Luo En playfully reminded as he tried to extract his limbs from the floor of the cabin, attempting to regulate his disrupted internal energy. However, at this moment, Tiamat was already drunk, her consciousness sunk into chaos, not hearing any sounds from the outside world, except the motherly instinct to lull a child to sleep. So, Luo En once again felt the deep and profound motherly love, as his entire head was submerged in a soft ocean, sinking to its darkest yet warmest depths. To be fair, he had tried to resist. But it was well-known that serpentine creatures and divine monsters had a hallmark skill called "Death Coil." As a dragon-serpent hybrid, Tiamat was evidently skilled in this, employing hands, feet, and tail to firmly lock a young escapee in her embrace. After several unsuccessful struggles, Luo En resigned himself to lie flat in that dark yet warm softness — in pain but also in pleasure. Not knowing how much time passed above the Sea of Chaos. A ray of sunlight broke through the gray blurry mist, casting some natural light onto the turbid water surface. Luo En, in the Argo’s cabin, suddenly pulled his head out from the warm yet dark trench, looking towards the outside of the ship. Gradually, the once-violent storm of chaos came to a halt, and the murky sea surface now resembled a flowing blue gemstone, flickering with fine golden light under the faint sunlight. A gentle mist enveloped, while the seawater appeared a soft blue-gray, with high visibility. Luo En’s dispersed Divine Will, passing through a world barrier formed by the Power of Laws, glimpsed the undulating mountains and hills, the brilliant sun, moon, and stars, the vast Two River Fertile Land, and ancient Sumer-style city-states standing densely across the land. The Babylonian Divine Era has arrived! Luo En’s eyes flashed with sharp brilliance as he sat up from the cabin. Feeling the breath of her homeland, Tiamat awoke instinctively from her deep sleep, moving to the deck. She raised her hand towards the transparent world barrier spanning her home. Yet, upon contact, a tearing pain surged forth like a mountain collapse and tsunami. Tiamat groaned, staggering backward. The previously healing abdomen was once again torn open by the terrifying strike of the Giant Axe, with golden red Divine Blood gushing out. Luo En’s face changed, rushing onto the deck to pull Tiamat back, using Divine Power for her bleeding and healing. But in those few short seconds, Tiamat’s aura diminished significantly, her Divinity regressing further, and her form shrank from "adult" to "young girl," her gaze becoming more confused and chaotic. Is it a restriction triggered by nearing the Babylonian Divine Era? Luo En spat and roughly understood the root of the issue. To prevent the Creator Goddess from coming back for revenge, the Babylonian Pantheon of Gods not only deprived Tiamat of her Divine Core but also implanted a curse in her body counteracting the Babylonian Divine Era. Now, it’s somewhat troublesome. Luo En frowned, a shadow passing through his eyes. If he can’t pass through the world barrier and sneak into the Babylonian Divine Era, it would be difficult to retrieve Tiamat’s Divine Core and reconstruct her divine body.
