Before she could even process the agony, another blow slapped across and this time to her cheek. A sickening crack resonated in the air. The sharp sting of shattered bone sent her mind into a whirlwind of torment. Her front tooth flew out, clattering against the tiled floor, her lips split open, blood spurting down her chin.
Each impact made her vision flicker in and out.
Each blow brought a new level of excruciating agony.
Her screams grew weaker with every strike. Blood dripped from her chin onto her clothes, soaking them in dark, sticky red.
Then, just as suddenly as it began, the assault stopped.
Henna's head lolled forward, her entire body trembling. Her face was barely recognizable swollen, disfigured, streaked with blood. One of her eyes was already swelling shut, her lips quivering, her body wracked with involuntary spasms.

A sickening SNAP echoed through the room.
Her arm was jolted ripped apart with a force that made her lips widened and open to scream.

Her body twitches violently before finally going limp.
Kael simply watched, his expression unreadable, as blood pooled beneath her lifeless form.
Regalina stood just outside the door, her ears picking up the first muffled cries from within. At first, they were weak—small gasps of protest, the kind she expected. But then, suddenly, the muffled cries turned into blood curdling shrieks.
The sound pierced through the thick wooden door, sending a faint vibration along the walls.
A loud, gut-wrenching scream ripped through the air, followed by a sickening crunch. Another scream followed, but this one was different—hoarse, broken, filled with raw agony. It was the kind of scream that came when bones snapped, flesh tore, and all hope was lost.
