I could already hear the sound of the intruder in such a Karen like way. Her second sentence was the one that caught my interest, what foul crime?
Did I do something that offended the church? I mean there are many... so which one is she talking about?
My mind wondered back to the moment when the guard told me about the Crys Cave.
’Is she talking about a crime in the Crys Cave? But I don’t think there were any crimes there.’
’I always made sure to mine the crystals steadily with safety measures. There weren’t any safety hazards or incidents then just the few norm-’ My eyes widen at another thought, ’Could she be talking about that?’

I think about the first kid that brought me to the Cave and the one I killed right after discovering everything inside.

I quickly calm myself down, ’I’m probably thinking too much, the church couldn’t have known about Cail. How could they when I never brought one of the them there.’
I go towards the main gate where I see a group of guards closing the gate with their crossed spears and outside, a feminine figure stood with a tall wooden staff.
The figure was 20 or so years old from how young she looked. Her porcelain white skin couldn’t be disturbed by the angry frown on her forehead as the beauty radiating of her was evident.
The female attire for the church was a long white robe that completely covered the body. At the front, there was an extra piece of horizon cloth flowing down until it reached just the end and in its center was the symbol of the church. To end it, the dress had a long cape that was enough to hid the figures face if needed.
There was something strange about the girl. The fact that she was angry and talking shit with my guards wasn’t the cause, girls were like that... no, it was her figure.
She had a smoking hot figure. Those Double D’s that the robe spread into the middle, her huge butt just good enough for a hard smack and her face... you could just know she can make a good ahegao look.
Now having a beautiful figure isn’t a bad thing but something about her was just creeping at me... something problematic.

I slowly walk with a calm smile, "And what if I am madam, care to give an introduction before you continue your rude behavior?"
"Rude Behavior? The one who’s rude are all of you!" She said and if the guards hadn’t seen her scream before, they probably would have believed her, "How can you let the Goddess’s faithful stay standing in such a heat !"
"If you didn’t know, faithful sister... but these guards stopping you also are god’s children and are standing in the heat just like you. They are not screaming and whining like you are, especially when there’s you to whine in front of them."
"You You... Damn You! Where’s your superior?" The Priestess said as her face turned red, "I will immediately complain of you, let’s see how you are able to keep you job later."
"Well, I am here already, sister." I walk a step forward with a big smile.
"SO it is you... no wonder you’re so arrogant." The Priestess’s eyes narrowed, "Alright, I will forgive that behavior o if you open up and let me in right now."
"Before I do that, I would need to know, who you are, why you are so insistent on this matter and what the matter is exactly?"
"You still ask? Do you not fear the Goddess’s anger, fool?!"
"I do." I nod my head, "But not as much as con people’s words."
"What! You think I’m fake?"
"Well, you are screaming for no reason, intending to get to my Crys Cave without telling me a reason... so yes, I am beginning to think this is a con."
"Blast you! Such impudence! May your whole family and the generations to come may fac-"
Before she could see, I pulled out one of the guard’s sword and placed it before her neck.
"Now now sister, I have been way too patient with you and you reward me with a fucking generational curse..." Her eyes shook and mouth widened to mute, "Do you think I’m a fucking fool here, letting you stand in my property and curse me RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FUCKING FACE!"
The Priestess fell back in fear at my outburst and spoke in broken words, "I- I- I didn’t do any-"
"Anything wrong? Well, I’ll be the judge of that. Guards, take her to the interrogation room and prepare her, I’ll personally make her sing out her reasons."
The Priestess in fear, tried to run but the guards caught her immediately and dragged her inside.
Beyond the gates, I see a blue haired figure running to me as I quickly figure out what’s happening.
I turn to the priestess and see her smiling in glee at the arrival of her savior.
’No wonder why I felt that feeling... this bitch is a fucking heroine!
The running person was Arthur and this bitch was an actual priestess called Selene. An annoying bitch with the ability to get revelations from the Goddess... quite an annoying ability.
"Henry, stop what you’re doing. Unhand her!" He came in front of me, already looking aggressive.
"Ah Arthur... I would say it’s pleasant to see you again but it clearly isn’t so mind telling me what relation you have... with this con woman?"
"She’s not a con wom- she’s not what you think, Henry." Arthur said, his aggressive behavior calming down slowly, "She’s a real priestess of the church. Her name is Selene."
"Is that so?" I turn to Selene, who nods quickly, "Guards"
They let go of her as she falls with a thud.
"At least you could let me down slow-" Her eyes saw mine and immediately went quiet.
Arthur quickly helped her up and took a few steps back.
"Since you already know her, I assume you also know... what she’s really here for." He nods, "Care to explain?"
Arthur coughed before explaining, "Henry, Selene is a very important person. Her behavior... might have been somewhat different but she has a very rare ability to hear and even see revelations from the Goddess."

"Yeah, no." I shake my head, "I don’t care if it’s her revelation or anything, It’s my property and frankly I don’t like her... actually I don’t like her at all."
"Bu- But Henry, you must. It might be imperative for the kingdom."
’For the kingdom? Please, I know who’s it really imperative for.’
"An- An- And..." Finding strength among Arthur, the Priestess spoke, "If you don’t let me in, the church will find you at fault and will reprimand you for it."
We all hear a new voice and turn around.
I smile smugly at the arrival of the new figure.
