"I’m so sorry!" Max quickly apologized as he collided with a woman who dropped her bag.
It looked like she was just coming back from the market because the bag she was carrying was quite heavy. Luckily, nothing happened to the foodstuffs inside, because Max wasn’t even carrying any money on him to repay her if anything broke.
He crouched immediately, helping her pick the items up, and for the first time, he noticed her properly. She wasn’t just some random woman from the market.
Her features carried a quiet charm, the type that made someone pause for a second glance. Her eyes were sharp yet soft, and the way she muttered under her breath as she rearranged her things made Max curious.
’Interesting... who exactly did I just bump into?’ Max thought with a faint smile tugging at his lips as he handed her the bag.
"It... it’s fine. Thank you." The woman said as she bent down to pick the foodstuffs. Unknowingly, her cleavage opened slightly, giving Max a clear view.
’Hmm. How convenient.’ Max thought with a sly grin stretching across his lips.
"How about I help you?" Max asked as he crouched down, helping her gather some potatoes that had rolled out of the bag.
"I will manage, thank you." The woman sternly replied, her tone sharp as she avoided eye contact.

"I said, I’m not interested." The woman replied, her voice firmer now. She reached for the last potato, determined to end the interaction. But just as her hand touched it, Max’s hand shot forward and brushed against the back of hers.
His tone came again, calm yet commanding, almost impossible to ignore. "I insist, let me help you carry them home."
The woman froze at the sudden touch. Her skin prickled, heat spreading across her body. For the first time since Max started speaking, she finally looked at his face.
Immediately, her cheeks flushed red as her body temperature rose.

"I... I really... I’m fine." She stammered, snatching her hand away before standing up quickly with her bag. But in her haste, the grip of the bag snapped and it tumbled downward.
She tried to catch it, but Max’s reflexes were faster. He caught it easily, his fingers brushing hers again. The accidental touch sent another wave of heat through her, making her lips part slightly as she tried to control her breathing.
"Are you sure you are going to be fine?" Max asked again, his eyes locking on hers. She swallowed hard, her throat dry as the words caught in her mouth.
"Fine... if you insist, then I will appreciate the help." She finally said, her tone softer this time. She let go of the bag, allowing Max to take it fully. His smile widened.
"Alright, kindly lead the way home then." Max said as he stepped aside, motioning for her to walk ahead.
The woman nodded and began moving forward, her steps slightly uneven.
From behind, Max watched her intently, scanning her from head to toe. The sway of her hips, the tension in her shoulders, the stiffness in her movements—it was obvious she was struggling to keep herself composed. Her body was heating up more and more with each step, her lust steadily rising thanks to the skill affecting her.
At this point, she was trying her hardest not to stop and touch herself in public.
They walked through several streets. Even though Aqualis Sanctum was an island, the town itself was large and spacious, filled with families, shops, and small stalls. After several minutes, the woman finally stopped at a modest door and turned to him.
"We are here. Please, come inside." She offered, her voice low.
Max followed her inside, still carrying the bag, his sly grin never leaving his face.
