Arin and Tessa watched as the barrier covering Leon completely disappeared, revealing his body.
Immediately, Tessa saw him, and she gasped, her eyes widening in shock.
"Successful....." Arin muttered as he stared at Leon's new appearance.
Leon's body had undergone changes. First of all, his uniform was now big and even looked as if it would swallow him.
Well, it wasn't the uniform that changed—it was Leon. His big stomach was now smaller, just like every other person, and he now had a slim build. All the initial excessive fat had disappeared.
Another change was his hair. His hair was now long—though not as long as Arin's hair when he was in his Vampire form—but at least, it still reached his middle back. Apart from that, his hair was no longer yellow; it was now black.
Even the fat in his face had reduced, giving him a chiseled face. His skin looked smoother, and he looked taller.
"H.... He changed completely..." Tessa muttered.
She knew that he would change, but not to this extent.
Immediately, Leon's eyes snapped open, and he stood up from the ground, staring at Arin and Tessa with a confused expression.
He then began observing himself and noticed his slacked uniform and all the changes he had undergone.
His gaze settled on Arin before he asked, "H..... How long has it been?"
Arin walked forward. "Not long..... How are you feeling?"
Leon furrowed his brows. "Something has changed... That seed gave me some kind of strange energy...."
"I see," Arin muttered, his voice calm. "But apart from that, are you feeling different?"
Tessa and Arin stared at Leon, waiting for his reply.
A thoughtful expression formed on his face, but suddenly, it was replaced with a grin. "I feel like an ideal man..... Hahaha!"
Tessa sighed as she facepalmed. "With his reply, I can tell that something didn't change....."
Arin just chuckled slightly before he spoke. "You now see that my offer worked indeed."
Leon laughed. "Of course, brother! With this, I'll be able to get the girls in my cla~"
"No, Leon," Arin suddenly said, cutting him off. "If you do that, how will you explain your sudden change in appearance?"
Leon placed his finger on his chin, thinking about what Arin just said. "That's true..... Then what will I do?"
This really wasn't what Arin wanted to talk about now, but he didn't want to rush things, so he had to play along.
"Remember what Tessa said," Arin said as he smiled.
Leon's eyes suddenly lit up. "That's true, she isn't the only girl in this... err..... what was it again? Cult, yes."
Arin smiled wryly while Tessa just shook her head.
"Exactly," Arin said.
'Though, apart from Tessa, there's no other girl present,' Arin thought. 'I'll figure something out later if he asks about the other girls.'
That aside, Arin decided that it was time to move on to the real issues.
"Okay, Leon. Let me explain everything to you," Arin said.
Leon nodded his head in response, still checking out his new appearance.
With that, Arin told him about the Shadow Portal and how he got the Shadow Seed. It was the exact same thing he had told Tessa.
"So, do you feel anything?" Arin asked.
"Yes," Leon replied. "I can feel this Dark Energy you talked about, and I think I can do some things with it."
"It just feels natural..." Leon added. "Almost as if I've been doing them for a very long time."
"Perfect," Arin muttered.
"Now, control that Dark Energy and do one of the things, but use only a little bit of Dark Energy," Arin added.
Leon nodded his head as he closed his eyes and concentrated. Just like he had told Arin, he could control this Dark Energy as if he had been using it for a long time.
Arin squinted his eyes. 'I guess I won't stress myself to teach him about Dark Energy... He already seems to be able to control it.'
Suddenly, Dark Energy seeped out from Leon's right hand, and a Dark Spike was formed as he gripped it.
Tessa raised a brow. "Hmmm, he really can do things with it already."
Arin nodded his head. "Okay, do something else."
Leon nodded his head and began controlling his Dark Energy.
Minutes passed by, and he had already done a good amount of things. He could create different things like swords, spikes, and boulders from the Dark Energy, and he could also envelop himself with the Dark Energy to increase his physical capabilities.
According to Leon, he felt like there were other things he could do, but whenever he tried to do them, it was impossible.
"Maybe with time, as he uses the Dark Energy more, he'll be able to do them," Tessa said to Chaos.
"Hmm, that's true," Arin replied.
"There is one last thing I can do," Leon suddenly said.
Arin nodded his head at him.
Dark Energy began gathering around Leon, swirling around him. It continued gathering and grew thicker to the point that it covered him completely.
Arin and Tessa were unable to see his body, but they just watched the Dark Energy with a calm expression.
Within seconds, the Dark Energy began dispersing before it completely disappeared, revealing Leon.
Tessa raised her brows in surprise while Arin grinned.
"Now that's one hell of a transformation," Arin muttered.
Leon's body was covered with something like dark scales from head to toe. The scales shimmered slightly.
"It looks impenetrable," Tessa said, her eyes glued to Leon.
Immediately, Leon noticed that Tessa was looking at him with amazed eyes, and he grinned as he walked closer to her.
"You like what you see, huh?"
Tessa smiled wryly. "Uhm.... Yes."
Apart from the scales, two black horns were on his head, similar to the one Valtor had.
"Do you feel stronger?" Arin asked.
"Certainly," Leon replied. "I feel two times stronger."
Arin nodded his head in satisfaction. 'I'm glad I decided to go into that Portal.'
With his new powers and future powers, Leon would be a wonderful ally.
Leon's expression turned serious. "So, what kind of Shadow am I exactly?"
Arin folded his arms. "Before we get to that, there's something else you need to know."
Arin glanced at Tessa, who nodded at him.
Tessa walked forward, staring at Leon. "It's about Alex...."
