Leon had multiple fractured ribs and internal bleeding. Worse yet, every muscle in his body was torn. The only silver lining was that his organs had been spared, sustaining only minor bruising.
The same could not be said for the mighty Knight of the Morning Star. Horus was gravely wounded—most of his bones were fractured, and he had completely lost consciousness. Shattered bones had punctured multiple organs, and without immediate intervention, he would succumb to his injuries within minutes.

The two heads spoke different words occasionally, showing the disconnect between Dante and Damien. Dante wished to follow their Prophet’s orders, while Damien wanted to kill Amon before eliminating Leon. As Amon watched the schizophrenic episode that the twins displayed, a flash of understanding pivoted through his mind.
’The Prophet must be watching them… So, he’s suppressing the power of their Gospel and overwriting it with his orders.’
