She was now sitting on the sofa with a pen in her hand and a scratch paper on the coffee table.
Lu Yifeng paused from typing on his laptop as he turned to look at Xia Meilin. "I'm listening."
"I have set three conditions back then. No sleeping in the same room. You are not allowed to touch me intimately and we will have to behave whenever we're in public." She sighed. "You have broken the first two conditions. You have slept in my room and you have touched me by kissing me."
His lips curled up. "The first night was because of our son's request, the second was because you won't let go of me after you have cried your heart out the other night."
She pouted since she cannot argue with that. "Then how about the kiss? What kind of excuse are you going to make?"
"Our son once said that kisses bring good luck, I am just wishing you good luck." He rested his chin on his palm as he stared back at her.
Xia Meilin looked at him with a blank look on her face. "What an unbelievable excuse you have there. ."
She heaved out a heavy sigh before she turned away from him, she started writing on the paper. "Let's change the first one and replace it. To show our son that we are in good terms, I am willing to share a room with you."
He blinked a few times, "You do?"
"This cannot be avoided since he will definitely request to sleep with us sometimes. But the moment you try something that I don't like, I will stop sharing a room with you."
He smirked inwardly at his wife's new condition. Oh well, he doesn't mind it. As long as he is able to get permission from her, he will soon have her.
"As for the 'no intimacy'. I will also change this. From now on, I will accept hugs and kisses."
"How about making love?"
She blushed when she heard this from him, "T-That will be... only once my feelings for you are strong enough."
"Then how about having sex?"
She frowned, the redness of her face became darker. "M-making love and having sex is the same!"
"No, it's not." He closed his laptop and stood up. He started walking towards her. "Making love is only when two people love each other. Having sex is when the person is given permission to do it with the other, with feelings or without."
"Making love and having sex are the SAME!" Xia Meilin took her purse and throws it to him. "I am not a dumb person, Lu Yifeng!"
Before her purse can hit his face, he caught it just right in time. "I never said you were."
"No sex! That's final!" She growled before she wrote it on the paper.
He went and sat beside her. "Are you sure about this?"
"Yes, I am!" She showed him the paper with a big 'No sex' written on it.
"Then how can we give our son a baby sister? He's asking for one." This time, he used his trump card, Little Melon, as his excuse.
Xia Meilin knows that Little Melon was asking for a sibling but right now, she will not allow it even if it's Little Melon's request. "I'm the one who will carry the baby, I am the one who will give birth, you are just a sperm donor so I have the final say in this. My final decision is no."
Lu Yifeng hugged her from the side and nuzzled his nose on the crook of her neck. "Darling, don't be like this."
She felt every hair in her body stand up when she felt his breath on her neck. She ended up sitting still without even blinking once at this.
"We can try it and if you don't like it, then we will not repeat it." He rubbed his nose against her neck.
She snapped out from her trance, she placed her hand on his shoulder and tried pushing him away but he wouldn't budge. "Let go of me. You cannot trick me with those words, Yifeng."
"Won't you really give it a try with me?" He tightened his hold around her waist. "I promise to be gentle."
Her lips were stretched out into a thin line. He was so stubborn! "I will give it a thought. For now, let's continue to renew our contract."
"Hn. Give it careful thought, okay?" His lips curled up as he rested his head on her shoulder.
He was acting like a spoiled wife right now and this was making Xia Meilin's headache. "Yes, yes. Anyway, I will add some new conditions in our contract."
"Okay."
"No cheating. Even if we have promised each other earlier that we will not cheat, I want to make sure that you'll keep your word. If you cheat, I will have to castrate you as a punishment. I am pretty confident that I will never cheat on you but for the sake of this contract if I did cheat on you, you are allowed to give me any harsh punishment like putting me into a house arrest."
He straightened his back and released her from his hug. He looked at her with a serious look on his face. "Okay. I will only accept this if you'll castrate me by yourself, with your own hands. I will not allow you to hire someone else to do that for you."
Xia Meilin couldn't help but blush at this. If she will have to castrate him herself then... she will have to see his rod and...
She quickly stopped herself from thinking of it. She will not back down just because of the sight of his thing! "Fine! I accept your condition!"
She wrote it on the paper, "I will personally castrate you if you cheat on me."
He chuckled as he watched her write it. He was not afraid of her threat since he knows himself better than anyone. He will never cheat on her.
"For our marriage life to continue and for our relationship to work out, we need to be honest with each other. I don't like to have any misunderstanding between ourselves so if we can resolve it by talking then we will talk and resolve it. I don't want you to do reckless actions like thinking of something wrong about me just because of some rumor. Before you start imagining things, talk to me first. I don't want you to start to get angry and judge me. I will do the same to you. I will not hide anything from you."
Lu Yifeng suddenly felt guilty because of what happened earlier. After seeing the photos, he quickly thought that she was cheating on him. He knows that she loves Feng Ning and it scared him to know that she can leave him because of that man.
Since there was nothing else to add, she turned her head to him. "I will send this to my lawyer so that he can process this immediately."
Lu Yifeng smiled at her, he was happy to see that she was making an effort to give him a chance in this relationship. "Thank you, Meilin. I promise that I will never let you regret this."
Xia Meilin smiled back at him, she reached out and hugged him. She buried her face on his chest. "I always keep my word so make sure to keep yours, okay?"
"I will." He hugged her back and kissed the top of her head.
