Xia Meilin held his hand and put it away. "Even if I love you, I still love my family more. I will not run away with you. I will not divorce my husband because of my feelings for you."
Feng Ning felt the heavens falling on his shoulders when he heard her words. "W-What are you saying? Didn't you say that you love me? You're lying right now. Stop lying to me, Meilin!"
Even if her eyes were blurry, she wiped her own tears away and looked at him straight in his eyes. "Am I?"
Her nose never twitched and because of this, Feng Ning was able to tell that she was really saying the truth.
"I love you... but I want to end this feeling because it's wrong... It is wrong to love another man when I already have a man waiting for me at home.
