"They went to visit your grandparents today." He took a step closer to her. "They will be staying there for the night."

When he entered his study, he shut the door with a 'bang' before he went and punched the wall hard, letting it all out. He was not going to make the same mistakes he did in his past. He was not going to let his temper take over him.
Blood oozed out from his knuckles because of the punch he did on the wall. Although, the pain in his hand wouldn't be able to compare with the pain in his heart.
Xia Meilin was actually surprised when Lu Yifeng didn't do anything to her. Her racing heart finally calmed down. She didn't trust him one bit that's why she feared that he might attack her earlier.
Now that the atmosphere in the room returned to normal, Xia Meilin let out a long breath since she was holding it earlier because of Lu Yifeng's scary look.
She looked at the old grandfather clock in the room. It was almost time for dinner but she didn't feel like eating. She walked out of the living room and saw the head maid. "I will skip dinner tonight. I'm full."
Mo Jing watched Xia Meilin climb up the stairs. She saw what happened earlier, although she wasn't able to hear anything from them, she can only tell that the married couple was in a fight.
Xia Meilin entered her room and went to take a shower before she changed into her pajamas. Since it was still early, she walked towards her room's balcony. The place was so beautiful, the garden filled with different kinds of flowers were seen, and because of the moonlight, it made the view look serene.
But despite this, she feels so empty without Little Melon around. Knowing that he was with Jing Yue, visiting her grandparents, she also wanted to leave and go to them.
