Only then did Su Mo carefully size up the man. He was about the same height as Lu Chen, with a buzz cut, almond eyes with an eerie dark red hue, and facial features that leaned towards gloomily pale, a pathologically sickly look, most notably marked by a teardrop mole under his left eye.

"You know him?" she looked up and asked.
Lu Chen nodded his head with a somewhat cold voice, "Not well-acquainted."
Li Chuan smiled towards Su Mo, eyes slightly upturned when he smiled, seductively frivolous, "Let me introduce myself, I’m Li Chuan."
"Weren’t you in City C?" Lu Chen frowned, pulling Su Mo behind him as he asked coldly.
"Ah~, I was," his head tilted slightly backward, pale fingers pointing to a few mercenaries who had narrowly escaped death sitting on the ground behind him, "That old man set up a base in City B and insisted on bringing me over."
Su Mo lifted her head, Lu Chen’s expression was cold, and a strange undercurrent surged between them.
