Chapter 20
'What?? What did she say?? She LOVES challenges?? WHAT KIND IF PERSON LOVED CHALLENGES???' Sora's mind was in complete shambles
"Hello? You there? Do you want me to work for you or not??"
This snapped Sora out of his daze . . no way was he giving up this opportunity!
"Of course . . . blah blah blah blah blah" Sora gave Mei all the nessacary details that she needed to know
After he was finished, Mei Koi signed the contract he presented her, took her money, smiled to him, said goodbye, and walked away .
Her actions froze Sora again for a minute, replaying the scene where she smiled at him in his head over and over again
'Wait . . . '
A sudden realization hit Sora
'I-I think . . I'm in love with her . . ?!?' Sora had actually been thinking about this for a while . . .
why else would he be obsessed with her?
why else would he want to watch her every move?
why else would he be incredibly soft and nice to her?
why else would he cheer for her great performance at Talent~fest?
why else would he be willing to give up anything for her to work for him?
Why else would he be willing to give up everything else just to be able to be around her???
He didn't know when exactly it happened, but he KNEW he had fallen for her . .
There was no use in being stubborn over it anymore . . he was willing to admit his feelings for her now and not make up a stupid excuse . .
. . . .
Watching Mei Koi's retreating figure, Sora smiled to himself and said quietly
"I love you . . "
This was a very sweet and romantic moment, but the thing was
HOW DID CEO LIN FORGET ABOUT HIS POOR LITTLE SECRETARY THAT WAS STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO HIM???
The secretary felt like he was about to die . .
'w-what did CEO just say?? I love you?? He even smiled??????'
This was definitely a secret the secretary would keep with him till his death . . .
Besides, it's not like even if the secretary told everyone what he had just witnessed they would believe him! They would all deem him crazy for saying such things!

After walking for around a minute, Mei finally reached Ali .
They had parked their motorcycle in an undisclosed location so whoever hired them wouldn't be able to follow them back to their base .
"Mei! You had me worried sick! When you told me to leave, you acted as if you were going to fight a war!! Do you have any idea how scary that is??!?" Ali was obviously worried . .
Mei ignored her and got onto the motorcycle
Seeing that Ali didn't move from her spot, Mei frowned and said
"Are you coming or not?? When we get to the ice cream place, we'll talk there!"
"I- Okay . . !" Ali eagerly jumped onto the back of the motorcycle .
The mention of ice cream had distracted her from her thoughts . . . at least for a little while . .
Finally, after changing out of their male disguises and going into their normal attire, they arrived at the ice cream place
While sitting down at a table, Mei said
"What type of ice cream do you want? I'm getting a chocolate cone! How about you?!?"
"Well . . hmm . . let me think . . "
Ali paused
"A vanilla cone of course!! Is that even a question?!?????!"
This had eased the atmosphere around them, and released them from their previously serious attitude
After getting the ice cream, they finally started to discuss what Mei Koi had promised
"Sssooooooo . . . . . what exactly happened back their, Big Sister Mei Mei??!?"
"Jeez . . I told you not to call me that . . . "
"No way! I'm gonna call you Big Sister Mei Mei for the rest of our lives!!! I'm not gonna give up on that!!"
"Fineee . . . whatever, but seriously . . "
The atmosphere tightened a little as Ali sat up straight
"That man, Sora, he does indeed know our true identities . . "
"Really??? How did he figure that out?!?!!" Ali was amazed . . someone ACTUALLY managed to figure out who THEY were!! That was seriously amazing!
Just like Mei, Ali wasn't scared or angry, instead, she was excited .
It had been a really long time since they had anything interesting happen to them, so of course someone finding out their identities would make them excited!!

"And . . "
Mei Koi continued
"And . . I signed us both up to work for him!"
"Really, that's amazing!!" Ali was overjoyed! Maybe some more interesting things will finally be happening to them!!
"I know, right!!" And just like that, the two of them immediately slipped back into their excited aura as they continued eating their ice cream and chatted light-heartedly . .
Authors note: I wrote a lot more for today's chapter than normal . . ! Also as I'm not to good with emotions, I have no idea whatsoever how people really behave or act to people close to them . .
Also I changed to CEO'S name to Sora Lin instead of Tan Lin because I think the name Tan sounds like an old man's name . .
Please leave a comment telling me down below if I should change anything or change how all the characters behave . . in general, please just tell anything you think about my writing style and the storyline so far, it can be criticism or positive, just something you think I need it improve . .
I'm only 12, afterall, and since I'm uncreative, this stuff is really hard especially since I haven't really learned how to write a story . .
