I really didn't see this coming that Rozzean would invite me to eat with him. This is the first time I'll be facing this man while eating, in a dimly lit room, just the two of us. Actually, the atmosphere is quite... romantic.
What's going on, Thaliana? It's only been a week, but your feelings for your boss have already changed. Your heart flutters when he gets close. You questioned your decisions, and... your heart is not beating normally when he's closer. Like right no!
I glanced at him but when he I noticed that he was going to look at me, I bow my head.
"What did Maki say to you earlier?" and that was an unexpected question.
My spoon, with a scoop of rice on it that I was about to put on my mouth was paused mid-air. I looked at Rozzean, and his eyes were locked on mine, serious and direct. It seems he's still thinking about what happened earlier.
I gulped before answering. "He didn't say anything, sir--"
"Did he tell you that he'll take you away from me if I was being too harsh on you? Did he?"
I almost choked after I heard his words. E-Excuse me, sir?! t-take me away from you? what are we?
"Or did he ask you to transfer to his house and resign from working here in my house?"
So, this is the reason why he is not in the mood? he doesn't want to lose me... his maid, of course. Let's not assume things.
"Sir, your friend is not that kind of person, I think--"

I tried to hold back my smile. From the way he sounds now, his eyebrows furrowed and his jaw tightening, it's like he's feeling jealous of what Maki did earlier. Don't assume, Thaliana! Why does he need to bring it up? It's making the chances of him being jealous even higher.
But because I'm in a good mood, I'll tease him for a bit.
"Not really, sir," I replied with a smile. "But for me, if I were to be kicked out of your house, well, I have a backup plan with Sir Maki's offer. I'd have a job already, it's good that he offered me ans--"
I stopped talking when he stood up. His sharp eyes looked at me. I took a sip of water when I saw his expression. Damn. The monster inside him is awake. It seems like he's not in the mood for jokes.

I suddenly remembered his one rule. Okay, I'll repeat it since he didn't answer Maki's question earlier. I put down the glass I was holding and stood up as well. I met his menacing eyes.
"Sir, maybe you forget one of your rules in this house, which often results in your maids getting fired. It's not allowed..." I approached him.

I wanted to add that he had a jumbo hotdog that seemed like it could make me scream in bed, delicious hard abs, and lips that looked kissable, but of course, that would be too embarrassing.

"You can't be certain I won't fall for you, sir," I lowered my voice, trying to sound seductive and convincing.
"So, if that happens, and you kicked me out of here, I have a house to go to right away. Sir Maki is nice, too," I briefly averted my eyes in another direction. "He is funny, he always smile and he is approachable."
I looked back again at Rozzean and give him a wide smile, "I think he'll be a good boss... in the future."
He was just looking at me. I added more praise for my ass cousin.
"By the way, he's also considerate, said goodbye when he left earlier, and he repeatedly complimented my cooking. He's nice, sir. It seems like I won't have a hard time getting along with him if--"
But my sentence were cut and I was surprised when Rozzean took a step closer. Now, he was the one approaching me with a serious expression. I suddenly got nervous, and by the look on his face, it seemed like he didn't like what I had just said. All of it.

"Sir, d-don't worry, I won't have a crush on you, hehe. I'm just teasing you. You're not my type, trust me, I won't like you, I promise," I said, raising my right hand.
"N-Never!"
With the nerouvs I was feeling, the corner of his lips lifted.
"Really?" he said in a deep voice.
He placed his right hand against the wall next to my head. I briefly glanced at it, and when I looked back at him, he was wearing a different kind of smile.
"With all the things you said about me – handsome, sexy, rich, and intelligent – you described me well, lady. And now you're telling me not to worry because you won't like me?"
He moved closer, his voice lowering, and his breath tickling my face.
"That you won't fall for me?"
And now, how did we end up in this situation?
Rozzean was pinning me against the wall!

He pulled me closer to him, making me gasp.

He smirked and lowered his head. His face was only inches away from mine. What is he up to now?!
"The way you describe Maki and indirectly compared him to me pissed me off, woman."

When I tried to push him away, he tightened his grip on my waist. He wasn't content with just one hand. Now bth of his hands were on my waist, and damn, I could feel his thing!
My heart was pounding loudly. I felt like my hands were getting cold because of what Rozzean was doing. Because of his body pressing against mine.
"S-Sir, this is not good, c-can you let me go?"
My face and ears suddenly turned hot. I felt like I was about to have a fever because of the heat I felt with the way things were going. Is he joking with me? Or can he not accept what I said about not having a crush on him, despite the fact that so many women are crazy about him?
"You already have plans if ever you leave my house," he tilted his head slightly. He looked away from me for a moment, then when he turned back, he lowered his face.
I couldn't believe what he was doing now. Is he drunk? Did he get drunk from the drinks he had earlier?
T-That might be the reason because this is not him!
"A-Are you drunk, sir? Y-You're joking, right?" I laughed, "but you won't get me with this, I know you are just toying me," I said, lightly tapping his hand that was on my waist, trying to move it away, but it didn't budge.

"I am not. I won't get drunk from just beer, Tali." As he spoke, I could really smell his breath!
Damn, we were so close to each other. Even if you dropped a coin in the space between us, it wouldn't fall because my chest was pressed against his. Sht, Rozzean, I'm going home. Why do you have to make me feel this way?

I tried pushing him again. But he was as firm as... my head lower a bit, the thing I felt in my lower abdomen.

I paused when I heard what he whispered. He continued to sniff me, and I could feel his lips brushing against my neck. I am in danger.
