Grace asked and Nicole tried to brighten her face up, she just didn’t want to bother her, but she couldn’t smile either.
"Nothing, I just,"
She said after a long pause.
"That doesn't seem like nothing girl, now spill, a problem shared is a problem half solved."
Grace urged her.
"Grace, I am pregnant, I did the test this morning, and it came out positive,"
She revealed.
"Wow, congratulations, are you sure? Did you do it more than once?"
"I didn't do it myself, I went to a hospital,"
"Ohhh, that's so cool, does your hubby know already? He must be happy,"
"He doesn't yet, I plan on telling him when he comes back home,"
"Oh, I am sure he is going to be happy, do I get to be a godmother? Please say yes, please,"
"Of course, you are my only friend, who else will I have to do it?"
"Yes!!!,
She said fist-pumping the air.
"Why don't you look happy about the news? You are pregnant for the man you love and who loves you just as much, you should be happy,"
"I am Grace, I am, just that I am scared that this might not be what Rafael wants now, we have never talked of having a kid,"
"Nicole, come on, kids are not planned most of the time, but they are always welcomed especially couples like you guys that are madly in love, a kid is a blessing and I know Rafael would be happy about it,"

She responded, Nicole hoped that was the case.
"So how far gone are you?"
"Just three weeks,"
"Oh, still in the risk stage, please be careful,"
"The doctor said that already and I will be,"
"Good, don't worry, your husband will love it, he loves you so he will certainly love to have a child with you,"

"Look at you, anyway, I have a boyfriend,"
"Oh my God, so soon? Girl? It's just your first year, I thought you were an introvert? What happened?"

"See her asking me as if she isn't the one that told me to have fun and not lock myself indoors,"
"I did say those but I never said you should go and get a man,"
"Well I did and he is nice, I like him,"
"Okay, good for you, I am happy you are happy and having the time of your life, introduce us soon okay?"
"Sure, I will, meanwhile, I can't get enough of the beauty of this place, the more I look the more I love it, to be you, my dear, to be you,"
"Don't worry you will get yours soon, just concentrate on finishing school,"
"Of course, I plan on doing just that, I notice your works got even better and your page is growing like mad, sometimes when some of my coursemate's talk about you, I just want to tell them that that's my friends work, but then they will ask me for your identity, q lot of then are your fans and are curious to know about you, I have no choice than to say it to myself since I know you don't want to be known,"

They talked for a long time, then Nicole taught Grace how to do some of the works that were on the wall of her studio, she had to do much fun that she felt sad when Grace has to leave.
Nicole sat waiting for Rafael to get back home, she was a new kind of nervous, they hadn't talked about having a baby so she didn't know how he would react to her already being pregnant. Would he be happy by the news or would he be sad? After knowing what happened to his family, she couldn't be sure of his reaction.
"Can't you just not overthink this and just wait for him?"
The voice in her head whispered.
"You know I overthink when I am nervous, right now, I can't help it,"
She replied.
"Well, he loves you, you love him and you guys have been doing it nonstop without protection so that should be a clue right?"
It replied back, she wanted to believe that was a sign, the fact that he never used protection with her, she couldn't bet on that because there were a lot of people in love who didn't want kids.

The voice replied and went silent, Nicole checked her time, he would be back in about twenty minutes, she needed to rehearse how she was going to tell him.
"Rafael, I have something to tell you, I am, no, we are pregnant,"
She felt that was just too much information at the same time, he might get scared and run.
"Raf, I am pregnant,"
She said again, this felt okay but she felt it lacked emotions and excitement, she didn't want him to think she doesn't want the baby, she does, one hundred percent does want her baby.
"I give up, I am just going to say it out when he gets home,"
