Rafael looked around his new achievement, the mine officially opened today and in a few weeks he would be a gold miner too, yes and he was close to achieving his long term goal of being the youngest trillionaire, apart from this his other businesses were doing great at the moment and he was making billions in minutes, well that didn't guarantee that he was happy though because he wasn't, he hasn't spoken with Nicole for over two weeks now and she hasn't called or anything else, he thought if he stayed away then she would miss him and at least call but he must have taken her for granted and she has shown him she wasn't up for that, he missed her a lot and want to call her every day but he needed her to make that move, to call him, and it looks like that's not going to happen, which means he wasn't halfway there yet, he wasn't even close to gaining her back and that shit wasn't easy to deal with.
He walked into the office he was using here and sat down, the place was not as big as his other office but it was good, he didn't make a big deal out of the office here because he knew he wasn't going to be here most of the time, there were people already in place, he hired only the best and he trusted them to carry out their jobs properly, he was paying every one of his works well for their services so they don't have an excuse and so far he hasn't gotten any excuses, people were happy to work for him, not only did he pay his workers well, but he made sure their workplace and everything was favorable, giving vacations and all. He wasn't bragging it was just the fact.
Rafael was in the middle of going through the files that were left for him by the manager here when his phone rang, he picked it up quickly thinking it night be Nicole but was met with disappointment when it turned out not to be her, the number wasn't registered on his phone, he picked up anyway.
"Hello, you are on to Rafael Salvador, may I know who is speaking?"
He asked.
"Hello?"
He said when the person on the other end reminded silent, he wasn't in for this stupid game of calling and not saying anything so he hung up after a few minutes but the caller recalled again, he didn't pick up, then he called again.
"Who the fuck are you?"
He yelled at the caller who started laughing.
"What's so funny? And how did you get my contact?"
"Rafael Salvador, watch your back, for you won't know what hit you and when it will hit you,"
"And the fuck do you think you are to make such threats? You can't even reveal your identity and you think you can threaten me and I will be scared?"
"My identity shouldn't be what's bothering you right now man, you should fear for your safety and that of the people you love,"
The caller said, Rafael wasn't even threatened, the person calling was a coward and he would never feel threatened by a coward.
"Let's see what you can do, stop hiding behind a damn phone, coward,"
Rafael said and hung up, he dropped his phone and went back going through the production cost and everything that was done on the mine on its first day of opening, his phone beeped signaling an incoming message, he checked and let out a curse.
"God damn it, who the fuck is this?"
He let out, dropping the papers and focusing on his phone, there was a photo of Nicole's gallery with the caption, "I told you, this is what you need to be bothered about,"
"Who the fuck does he think he is to threaten me? And what does he even wat?"
He asked out loud, as he dialed the number that had called him before.
"Why did you call? I thought you aren't threatened,"
The unknown caller said when he picked up, Rafael wasn't in the mood for games.
"What do you want and why are you targeting here? She has no relationship to me in case you don't know,"
"Is that so? I should laugh because that doesn't seem like the case, "
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, I have been watching you Rafael, and I know damn well that the woman means a lot to you, at first it didn't seem like it and I was going to stop following her and just look for other ways to get to you but that turned out not to be needed because it is clear she means something to you and if you want her to be safe, then you have to do as I say,"
"What do you want?"
"Don't rush man, we have all the time, I am not in a hurry when the time comes I will let you know, meanwhile, your wife is hiding a major secret from you, you might get the shock of your life if you find out,"
The caller said Rafael knew better than to believe the words of someone who obviously was trying to blackmail him.
"I don't have time for your games, better say what it is you want from me or get the fuck out of my face,"
"Don't worry, I am not in a rush, I will leave it here today, I will call again, till then your assignment is to find out who you think I might be,"
The caller said and hung up on him, when he dialed the number again, it didn't go through, he tried it a few more times but it didn't go through.
He dropped his phone and was going to go back to his work when a series of messages flooded his phone, he picked up his phone again and cursed out. They were photos of Nicole taking at different angle, and some where of Natalie too, some photos were taking so close and others so distant, he got scared, because whoever it was taking these photos of his woman and her twin wasn't playing, he has to do something before it is too late, he called the number again and like he expected, it didn't go through, he decided to call his security officer instead, he didn't currently have any bodyguard with him as he felt he didn't need them, that was about to change, he needed to have men around Nicole and her twin sister, if he was thinking right by the photo, the person taking these photos didn't know who was who as he didn't have any photos of them together, which mean none of the twins are safe, he looked at the photo again, there was one of Nicole going into an hospital, for some reasons he was bothered by those photos, it was recent, he could tell, so why was she going to the hospital, was she sick or could it be because of, he sure hoped that wasn't yr case, he was fine with her even if she can't give birth again, he loves her and would be with her even if they can't have a kid, they can always adopt.
