Nicole said and took a deep breath to calm herself, the nerve of him to talk her down, they haven't been together for months now and he expect her to remain sad, he must be joking, even though his assumption of her relationship with Aron was wrong, she had no plans of correcting him, she might have if he had talked to her differently but with the way he talked, he can go ahead and keep thinking that.

He accused, Nicole couldn't believe he thought she would do that, that never occurred to her, she just wasn't going to correct his thinking that she had a thing with Aron.

She answered, she was tired of talking about this with him, he was being insensitive and talking trash, she didn't have to stand here and listen to all these, she choose to walk away instead, Aron showed up at that moment and she thanked the heavens for it.

Aron asked when he walked closer to them, he might not have recognized Rafael as her husband as he didn't acknowledge him.

She said and held onto Aron's arm as he lead her out of the hotel balcony, she didn't look back, she didn't want to see Rafael again, he was a past done and forgotten.
"Thanks, Aron, for being with me today and also for bringing me back to my hotel,"
Nicole said when they arrived at the door of the hotel room, she didn't want to invite Aron in, she wanted to be alone.
"You are welcome, you were a fun company too, glad I met you there,"

"About what I met earlier,"
He said she knew he was referring to the incident with Rafael but she wasn't ready to talk about it.
"Can we not talk about that Aron, I need to rest, I have an early morning flight to Boston tomorrow,"
She said hoping he would take the hint and leave her alone.
"Sure, have some rest and we talk on the phone or when we get back to Florida,"

She said sincerely, she was thankful for him being understanding and not pushing it.
"Get some rest,"
He said and she opened her hotel room door and got in, she heard his footsteps as he left, she threw herself on the bed, exhausted and annoyed, she went for Lucas and she didn't even see him face to face but it was cool, she still had fun before Rafael ruined it with his stupid accusations, yes, she saw them as him accusing her of moving on so fast like he wants her to be caught in the past forget, it made her even more determined to move on.
She lazily got off the bed again, removed her makeup, and took a bath before going to bed, she tried her best not to let the event of the night make her not sleep, she fell asleep faster than she even thought.
