"Your friend is still around?"
Her mom asked and she smiled.
"Yes, she would leave by Monday morning, she schools at Harvard,"
"Wow, she must be very intelligent,"
"Yes, she is,"
"I can tell by the way she introduced herself, I like her.
Her mother responded, everyone liked Grace, even Rafael had liked her, Grace is someone no one can hate and Nicole was glad she had her as a friend.
"Mom, I have to leave again, Grace and I are going window shopping, I will see you later,"
She said and got up after hugging her mom.
"Alright, take care,"
Her mom responded and she left to get Grace who have been in her room all day.
"Grace, let's go window shopping, we can't just stay in the house all day,"
Grace looked up from her phone, she smiled.
"I don't want to,"
"You don't have a choice, now get your ass off that bed, I already told mom we are going out,"
"You are such a bully,"
"Yes I am, I am your big sister remember, I can bully you,"
She replied laughing.
"Wow, big sister, I like that, I never had siblings so it's so nice to have one now,"
Grace said in an emotional voice
"Aww baby, don't worry from now on big sis will take care of you, for now, let's go window shopping with big sis,"
"We can order online,"
"No, let's go shopping, doing it online kills the fun of it,"
"Oh, okay, let's go,"
She said finally getting up, she walked into Nicole's wardrobe and got out clothes which she wore while Nicole looked at her smiling, she liked that she could share her things with Grace and they are basically the same size so it was perfect.
"Now you look like one lady I know,"
She said when Grace was ready.
"Who?"
"Me, just without the big glasses,"
"I like your glasses, I kind of prefer them to the contact lenses you wear,"
Naira said, she wasn't the first person that was saying it, Rafael and Aron both said it too, she was even more comfortable with glasses but sometimes she just feels like wearing contact lenses and they are both okay for her.
"Let's go shopping girl,"
She said dragging Grace along with her, they spent the rest of the day window shopping and making new and happy memories...

I can't believe you are leaving tomorrow, I don't want you to leave, can't you just stay with me, Grace?"
Nicole said feeling sad for real, after spending the whole weekend with her Grace had to go back to school by tomorrow morning, Nicole didn't want her to leave, she hadn't left and she was already missing her presence.
"Aww, sorry, but I have to, you are going to miss me right?"
"Of course, what do you expect, I am going to be so bored out of my mind here, you are the only color in my life right now,"
"Right, where does that leave your parents and your Aron?"
"Aron is not mine and my parents have each other,"
"Don't worry, before you know it will be weekend again,"
"You are coming this weekend too? For real?"
Nicole asked, excited by the news, she didn't want to be bored and alone, especially now that she has to be careful of how she interacted with Aron, she was seriously thinking of what to do to kill time, drawing and painting was no longer doing their job in keeping her unbothered, she needed something new.
"Yes, baby, I am, usually during the weekend, I am alone as my roommate is always away, I don't want to go home so since your parents have approval for me to visit, I am going to make good use of it, so look forward to seeing me on weekends and some holidays, next weekend we can go see my parents together, what do you say?"
Nicole loved the idea, she wanted an adventure, something to keep her mind off things.
"I say a big yes to that and also the week after that is my birthday,"
'Wow really? that's nice, I am glad that I will be around then, what would you like for me to get for you, my love?"
"huh."
Nicole thought hard, she wasn't really into birthdays and have never shown at the lavish party throw in her house during their birthday, well the party isn't much about them because of their parent's wedding anniversary, she wasn't sure if there will be a party this year, she would ask her mom by tomorrow morning, maybe that's why Natalie was coming back.
"So, what do you want as a birthday present lady?"
Grace asked again to bring Nicole out of her thoughts.
"Huh. I am not really a fan of birthdays so you can get me anything, I don't know yet if my parents are going to have a party, they usually do each year since it's their anniversary too,"
Nicole revealed.
"Wow, they got two lovely daughters as a wedding anniversary gift, that's so nice,"
Grace replied excited, Nicole couldn't share in her excitement because she always hated the crowd those parties drew to their home and now Natalie and she was still not on talking terms, maybe their parents won't celebrate this year but if they did she won't be mad and she would try her best to be involved and not hide away, she just hopes that she can get to see her sister if their parents do throw a party.
"It would be nice if you and your sister made up, I really want to see the both of you together,"
"I know right, me too, but I tried reaching out, Natalie just doesn't want to talk to me, mom said she feels guilty and she is currently seeing a doctor, I hope she comes around for our birthday, it would be the best birthday present if I can tell her face to face that I don't blame her for what happened that I still love her as my sister."
She said feeling tears gather in her eyes, she missed Natalie, missed when they used to be each other's support system, wanted them back the way they used to be.
"Don't worry, I am sure it will turn out fine,"
"I hope so too,"
Nicole responded, she really wanted to be back on good terms with her sister, she went to sleep with the thought in her head...
