"I still can't believe you talked me into doing this shit with you Nicole"
Grace accused as they sat in the cafe waiting for Aron who said he will meet them here, Grace had been hard to convince, she made sure Nicole know that she didn't like Aron and didn't trust him and was only here because she didn't want her going alone to see Aron, wait until she finds out she spent a whole day with him.
"He is not really that bad, you just have to be a little more open-minded, he is a nice guy,"
"Yeah, like you really know him, tell me that when you have spent a single day in his present,"
"Actually I have, I did that few days ago,"
"What? You sent to see Aron alone? Have you lost your mind, Nicole? Aren't you scared?"
Okay, she was overdoing it, Aron wasn't really that bad, in fact, he wasn't bad at all, Grace just wasn't giving him a chance.
"Yes, I was at his studio, I helped him with some works and it was fun, Aron is a nice guy Grace,"
"I am telling you that he is not, there is absolutely nothing nice about that guy, you just don't see it because you already idolized him before you guys met,"
"Wow, you must really hate this guy, because why else are you so against him?"
"I don't hate him, I just dislike his presence and personality, he doesn't look genuine,"
Grace replied, Nicole decided to just let her be, she would come around when she realized Aron was a good person.
"It's up to you Grace, I can't tell you to like or dislike, so I understand if you don't like Aron,"
"Same Nicole, I understand that you like and value your new friendship with him but what I won't understand is when you decide to go visit him alone,"
"Grace, you are talking as if I went to his house, it's just his studio, and all I did there was help him with his work. I am learning a lot of new things from him, don't worry, it's not what you are thinking it is."
Nicole responded.
'If you say so Nicole. I trust you but not him, and I am doing everything for you, just so you know, I am never going to be a team Nicron,"
"What does that even mean Grace?"
"Well, it means Aron and Nicole, like a ship name if you guys decide to be a thing, I am just saying I am not going to be in support once a team Nicael always a team Nicael,"
"Okay, what does that also mean?"
"The ship name for you and your husband, I mean ex-husband,"
"You are crazy Grace but don't worry, there is never going to be a team whatever you called Aron and I, I don't see him that way,"
"Really? Because with the way you are going at it with him, I was kind of getting scared that might be the case,"
"No, Grace, Aron is just a friend, nothing more,"
"I hope so,"
Grace responded, taking a sip from her drink, Nicole did the same looking around for Aron who was over ten minutes late already. She didn't like being kept waiting and hoped Aron had a good reason why he was running late.
"Is he ever going to show up?"
Grace asked twenty minutes later, taking the question right out of Nicole's head, the man was thirty minutes late, why didn't he bother calling to tell her he would be late?
"Why is he taking so long? He can't just keep us waiting here like we don't have things to do,"
Grace said obviously offended by his no show, she was too, he could have at least called her to tell her why he was running late, just leaving them hanging like this was wrong on all levels and she would make sure to call him out on it, that's if he shows up, if he doesn't show up in the next thirty minutes then she was going to leave with Grace and that would be the end of their friendship.
"Calm down Grace, he must have a reason,"
"Then he should have at least called that he would be late, I don't know why you are making up excuses for him but if he doesn't turn up in the next twenty to thirty minutes then I am out of here,"
Grace responded.
"Same here, and also I am not defending him nor making excuses for him, let's just wait and see what he says if he does show up,"
"If he doesn't, I am sorry but I am going to go over to his studio and punch him at least four times in the face,"
Grace threatened, Nicole could have laughed because her hands were so small that her punch won't make much impact but then, she was already too angry with Aron to find the humor to laugh, he better have some really good excuses.
"You know, one thing I hate is someone showing up late, I hate it so much and this is really annoying being the fact that Aron is not someone on my good book,"
"I understand you, Grace, I hate to be kept waiting too, I don't even know what to say about his not showing up on time when he is the reason we are both here,"
"Call him at least?"
"Sure,"
She responded. dialing his number, it rang and rang but he didn't pick up.
"Oh, shoot, he is not taking his call either, I told you he is an irresponsible man but you won't believe me, I just know from our first meeting that he wasn't a good person but you made him out to be an angel, well I guess you angel is taking up the devil's clothes and armor today,"
"It's okay Grace, he would be here soon,"
She responded, looking around and hoping he would show up. She really liked their friendship and didn't want it to end but if he doesn't show up, she won't meet up with him again. She looked around one more time and was about to tell Grace they should leave. She spotted him.
