To say that he is beyond shattered would be an understatement as to how he is truly feeling presently. When the doctor broke the news to him, he was broken and was really sorry that it happened to her… to them.
This is a really heartbreaking time for them and he wanted to pick the right moment to break the news and hope that all of them heal from this heartache.
All this was entirely his fault… even though she might not want him blaming himself, he couldn’t help but do so.
How did the day’s event turn out like this? How did it turn from him sending her a message of how much he misses her and telling her that he would come to get her soon, to her being involved in that nasty accident?
It's messy and crazy and he can’t just bring himself to look at anyone, even himself in the mirror… he feels like he failed… he failed them, and all the good tidings that they should be celebrating.
She was asleep when the doctor told him the news and he had visited her after her family had all gone to see her.
There wasn’t too much damage done to her as the doctor explained to him, just a few light scratches on her forehead, right cheek, arms… he wasn’t sure about her legs since they were covered but it wouldn’t be serious just like the ones he could see.
He was left alone to be with her and he just stared at her face whenever he remembers what the doctor told him, it brought painful tears to him and he will keep apologizing to her sleeping self, then places light kisses on her forehead, cheeks, eyes, nose, and her palm.
He wanted her to wake up so that he could look into those beautiful brown eyes he loves and get lost in them forever… he wanted things to be different and this not to have happened but he has to accept that it has happened and tell her too so that with time, they would be able to heal from this heartache and move on with their memories in check.
It was already evening time and this is the fifth time his mum is coming in to tell him that he can go home to change and then come back to watch after her as he wants to.
“I’ll give you a call once she wakes up, just go home and have your bath and you could bring her something for when she wakes up so that you both can have enough time to talk,” his mum said and Moana agreed to watch her with Patricia till he comes back for them to have their ‘talk’.
He agreed and went home to relax for a while and bring some snacks, food, and a bunch of lilies for her… there were enough to ease the pain she will feel when she finds out what happened to their baby but it could still give her comfort.
When it was late evening, he carried the basket he arranged all they will be needing for their talk and hopefully for the night and walked out of the home then to his car so that he can drive to the hospital.
On his way to the hospital, he received a call from a private number but couldn’t attend to it and waited till he was in the hospital first before answering.
When he checked his phone, he saw the missed call from the private number and a message from them too so he opened it and it contained a text that says ‘OPEN FILE’ in bold letters so he opened it heard something interesting there.
This could be what they needed to have everything sorted so he sent the file to Aiden for proper checking and so that they can quickly end things once and for all so that they can live a happy life.
After he had sent it, he stepped out of his car and grabbed the basket, and walked into the building of the hospital when he was at the reception area, he gave a polite nod to the nurse he met earlier but she just rolled her eyes and continued with her work.
He couldn’t blame her since he was on her neck like she held something of his.
He walked inside his wife's hospital room and saw that the doctor was examining her as he asks her questions that she answer with a bored expression.
When he entered, both mothers saw him and smiled but when his eyes met with Audriana she just looked at him with no smile gracing his lips like it would… no spark when in her eyes when she looked at him… it felt dry and he didn’t like it one bit.
After the doctor had examined her, he left and tapped Dimitri on his shoulder when he passed him.
Patricia went to give her a hug and a kiss on her head… her mum hugged her longer and let them stay that long to fill in her daughter’s presence and kept saying how thankful she felt when she didn’t lose her daughter because she didn’t want to know how she will feel if such happens.
After their mother and daughter moment, they said they will leave them together to talk things through and comfort each other and guide themselves on how to lead a happy and fulfilled marriage and relationship.
When both mothers left, he stared at her while she refused to keep eye contact but he knew that now might be the last chance he has to explain things to her so he didn’t shake and walked up to her then brought out some fruits, and snacks for her to eat so that they can get talking.
When he was sure that she was eating and fully into the food, he apologized and told her how bad he felt for not coming to get her since the past weeks and he asked for her forgiveness.
She told him that she was hurt that he couldn’t answer her when she asked him that day and wished that he reciprocates the feelings she has for him. She told him that she loves him a lot and he too confirmed that he loves her too and want to tell her about his past with Daniella.
He explained that Daniella was his first love and first everything. He talked about how much he carried her like a queen, cherished her, loved her and hoped for a family with her one day but it wasn’t the case seeing that she killed a woman for reasons best known to her and killed their daughter Pricilla.
How it shattered him and how the family of the girl demanded justice for their daughter, wife, and sister but they managed to get her arrested after gathering enough evidence to put her behind bars she wasn’t sentenced to prison, but rather to a psychiatric home because she was unstable mentally.
He also explained that she was supposed to be there for a longer time or until she is mostly healed and cant cause harm to herself or anyone around her but can't decipher why they let her out so early and when she isn't healed properly.
She unleashed a whole new crazy like Aiden had told him before and she giggled at that.
He told her more that she needed to know about him and she was happy that he was able to open up to her about it. She also told him about a scary moment she had in school and how terrified she was and that was why she was scared of elevators.
She explained what happened that got her scared and wouldn’t want to rind on the elevator.
He apologized for making her experience it over again when they went on their honeymoon and she said it was fine at least they were being open and transparent about their feelings for each other and some things they wouldn’t tell anyone, even their close friends.
They made it their thing and decided to work on the eyelash brand they came up with… it sounded fun and he has beautiful lash coupled with his constant eye-roll.
They talked about lots of things and broke the news of their baby to her.
At first, she went still in shock for almost two minutes before bursting out crying, he cried also and they comfort each other with hugs, prayers, and positive words, they told themselves that together they can overcome and heal from this sad news.
Even though she said countless times that she was fine, he knew she wasn’t. no mother to be will be happy to hear that they lost their babies that didn’t get the chance to grow… it is heartbreaking for them both but together they could strive together, grow together and heal from this loss.
She was thinking that he would be the one that wouldn’t be okay because of how he lost his first daughter in the past but he assured her that the healing process might take quite some time but time will help them heal and GOD will give them the strength they need to be strong.
He asked her if she wanted to come home with him now but she told him no.
“Don’t get me wrong Dimitri, I would love to come home with you but… I don’t want you to see my worth because you thought that you would lose me, because you thought that there might not be a chance for us together again… instead, I want you to want me every day of your life” she explains to him.
“When you sleep, when you wake, when you eat, when you take your bath when you are going shopping, every moment of your life… I feel like you desire me but I want it to be so strong and real this time… no hesitation, no thinking, no other option… just me” she caressed his stubbled chin and he nodded in understanding.
“I get you, but don’t worry, I will be back to come to get you home, okay?” he promised and they shared a passionate kiss.
Not every relationship is perfect but if both parties are willing to respect, fight, love, be transparent, and have no other option… then their relationship can be exclusively perfect for them and enjoyable.

He felt his heart swell when she said his name and smiled then placed another kiss on her lips.
“I love you too Loveth” he said against her lips and they sealed it with a really passionate and fantastic kiss.
