I laid within the hospital bed with nothing to do but stare in space and watch as Marco glared at me, Maria and Maurice were typing away on there phones and Vicky sat on the seat beside my bed praying to God.
Mom and Dad plane had landed a few hours ago on there way from the business meeting. They were arriving at noon alongside a couple of our family members. Currently they were planning a big surprise.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I glared back at Marco the annoying boy.
"You know what you did so don't lay there acting all innocent!" Marco yelled at me.
What the hell was he rambling about now? Did I make myself come here on spite? No. And did I want to be in a hospital? No. So what was he talking about. Wasn't it bad enough I was in a hospital?
"What did I do?" I frowned at him.
He looked at Maria before from the corner of his eyes before speaking, "You almost got us killed!" he exaggerated.
Ohh, so that's what he was talking about.
"No I did not, if you had just tell me what I wanted to hear in the beginning, none of that would've happened" I threw back.
"Well then little miss nosey, if you had just waited for us to tell you, we wouldn't have to be dealing with a psycho on our backs" he motioned between him and Maurice who looked not to care about what was going on.
"It could've been worse. I mean look at Steff, compared to him you guys got off easily" I joked.
"It's not funny"
"Could you quit with all that bullshit right now she needs rest and none of this is" Vicky motioned between us.
"Why do I have to be here? Clearly there's nothing wrong with her, so can I please go" Maria asked flipping her hair.
"No the doctor said Anna's blood pressure has gone down too low and it's due to her missing Antonio, she needs all the support she can get"
Vicky voiced sternly.
"I have to leave by 5pm sharp Kristy's said he has a surprise for me at home!" she taunted snapping her eyes going back to her phone and I had to gag at the name she gave Kristrin. Good Lord.
"Am sure the doctor will discharge her to go home anytime soon" Vicky glared at her.
And I also glared at her direction. One day am gonna punch her lights out, that'll teach her not to be a bitch.
"This is not over until I get my revenge" Marco whispered next to my ear.
"Let's see about that, am sure you wouldn't want a second chance at death with the one that almost killed you the first time" I shushed him up.
He shot me another glare before heading back to his seat and mumbling what I could tell were profanities.
The door then pushed open and in came the doctor, "How are you feeling Anna" he questioned looking at my charts.
"Nauseous" I stated looking Maria.
"How are you feeling apart from your nausea?" he questioned again looking between me and Maria.
"Fine" I said sighing, soon this will all be over. The doctor stood about seven feet flat and I peered my head up at him just to see his face. Another thing I recognized was that he was a very handsome man.
"I have some wonderful news for you, your now free to go home!" he congratulated and I wondered if that was the signal.
Tears brimmed to my eyes and I had to confirm what he was saying, "Your saying it's fine to go home?"
"Yes"
You would think I was being over dramatic but in the end. It was all worth it. I got up off the bed hugging the doctor before dashing through the door.
"Such a drama queen" I heard Maria mumbled but I disregarded her statement and made my way outside but not before changing in the bathroom.
The car ride was agonizingly slow going back home. Maurice was driving and all five of us sat in the car. I couldn't wait to get out. Just seeing my family again was the only thing on my mind.
The car pulled into the estate and my hands were itching to open the car door and run inside. It felt like forever since things has been normal and finally things were looking my way.
I looked at Marco who sat beside me and he had a smile on his face watching my every action. I looked to Maria to see her texting on her phone with not a care in the world. My smile dropped immediately.
The car came to a holt and I hurriedly pulled the car door open and in no time I was at the front door staring at it.
I then pushed the door open to reveal everything coming together as planned. It was finally time.
"Anna!" I saw my baby brother Antonio running towards me. I quickly bent down to my knees to greet him while squeezing the day light out of him.
"I missed you so much, don't you ever leave me again!" I kissed him all over his face. Tears now pooling down my face. Everything will be fine now.
"Anna I can't breath" he whispered and I released him a little not letting go. He was smiling brightly at me and I smiled up at him but his smile quickly vanished to a scared look.
I looked to see what he was scared about but then everything clicked, Maria stood beside me, a dumbfounded look playing on her face.
I then looked around and in the hall stood, Mom and Dad, Aunt Talia and uncle Jimmy alongside Kristrin, Kyle and Steff with a couple cops and my so called doctor. How on God's earth did he reach here before us?
I'm glad they were all here, who knew pretending could wear a girl out this much!
